  • Feelie - don't let it eat away at you chick. You CAN do this! You missed it but Benjamin had all kinds of tests and I was a mess about it. He had x-rays before they would let us bring him home and were talking in words like 'injury' 'damage' and 'fracture' - I was in bits. But you get through it, honestly.

Ladies - I am so happy to hear that you get stuck to the sofa by your babies too! Sometimes I think I am the only one that struggles with the feeding / sleeping constant cycle :o

This baby is being very grumpy today - very tired, but wouldn't sleep unless I was holding her, so I've been stuck on the sofa. I had to put her down to go to the loo, and you would have thought I had done something terrible to her, the amount of noise she was making! I was pacing the floor for ages trying to calm her down.

I've got a grumpy baby too today who doesn't want to be put down and wants to feed a lot! Although i've found she's quiet if the hoover is on - so i popped her in her pram, and left the hoover on so I could go for a wee and to make a cuppa!!

I've also got a very obnoxious 8 year old today - she has an answer for everything and is really starting to irritate me!

Is it a full moon? It really does affect her.

WELL DONE FEELIE AND WELCOME. We knew you could do it!
It was day three for me too - its a combination of lack of sleep, big sore milky boobies, hormones and shock I think! I remember thinking 'OMG, what have I done' because youngest was 8 and I thought I was past all the sleepless nights/feeding/nappies stage!
    It does get better, honest!

If you need to rant/chat and its not an acceptable time to phone someone - come on here, no doubt there will be someone up feeding!

LOL - I was just about to start my periods...I started 2 weeks after my 9th birthday.

DSS is being treated to dinner on his lap today because I am feeding Benjamin whilst eating mine at the dining room table... does anyone else plan meals that can be eaten with one hand??

Sami - Glad you stayed dry:D and isn't your son adorable:D:D

Feelie - I have only just started to feel back to my normal self, and Kai is 5wks tomorrow. Please try not to panic too much (although I understand why you would)And definitely get out for a walk. Don't worry about dressing up baby, just feed, change nappy and shove blanket on him then go!!! even if it is just down the end of the street and back. I had borderline PND with ds2 (did actually get prescribed anti-d's) The only way I got through it was going out as much as possible, especially mums and tots groups, they really helped me.:D

caz - Were any of the others screamers like Erin? Did you BF all of them too?

3 - I had that OMG what have I done moment too, although my youngest is 6yrs. I was also very worried about how DH would 'cope' with having a baby in the house again!! But he is great, esp compared to how he was with ds2.

I also have a grumpy baby, with a bad belly and two hyperactive but moody and argumentative older boys....I'm worn out and to be honest if I hadn't had so much sleep last night (went to bed at 10pm Kai slept till 6.45am) I probably would have buried the lot of the under the patio today;):o

Feelie, I know your Mum will be a great support to you with her past experience... But would you consider giving the number in my signature a ring and having a chat with someone who does it every day? They might be able to suggest something new?

MFD... I used to cut my food into bite size pieces before I even sat down with my food... It's like they know isn't it...

My cousins came over today and asked if they could have a drink of coke... My aunt let them so I had to let Aimee have one too... (She normally wouldn't even ask) cue sugar crash... She's crying up the corner because she thinks I love my cousin more than her.., While my other cousins wandering round going 'wait till the babies born Aimee!' Umm... Yeah thanks for that!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Feeli - welcome. I was a nightmare on the 3rd day tears for no good reason that i could see but its completely natural.

As for being stuck to the sofa - there was days when Oz fell asleep on me and i was so afraid to move him that i sat there - for hours at a time!!!

Ladybird - for teething Ashton & Parsons powders are great or Teetha whichever you can get - they worked brilliantly for Oz at that age.

Oh such a lovely day, we were out looking at furniture and then went for a walk and visited the inlaws and it was all very nice, hope tomorrow's the same!
    DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY ;)
