It is too nice to be in nadnad, im off to Matalan via the cows and sheep to see if I can get a super sucker swimming costume. I would go to Tesco but im scared of lifts and need someone with me to take Tasha upstairs to the clothes and today I cant be bothered listening to anyone, so will go to Matalan instead!

Im also amazed at half the things Natasha is saying as she has just picked them up but if you ask her 'where are mummy's eyes' she almost pokes them out so watch out for Oz getting over enthusiastic lol.

She is sitting on the floor by me looking through the Mothercare book saying, book, baba, milk, teddy, dog, duck etc to all the pictures in it. I always get mama but she has started saying mummy plain as day these last few days so im really chuffed as I want to be called mummy :D

  • Afternoon all. It is a lovely day here - Just got back from singing at the library and then meeting up with the post natal ladies :) I need to have a rush round and get things done before I have to go out and fetch DH from work, but I have the hungriest baby in the world sat on my lap!

Re swimming, MIL has told DH we should wait until after the injections before taking Izzy for the first time. I can't be bothered to argue that one, so a few more weeks before I need to worry about that. I always used to go in one of thoses bikinis with shorts, as it saves the bikini line worries ;~) Now I have all the stretch marks in the world I'm going to have to go find a proper swimming costume I think. Maybe I can put shorts on over the top or something!

Just found out that we will soon have another baby in the family - DH's cousin is 11 weeks gone with her 2nd. Her 1st was 1 in December I think, so no hanging about!

There was something else I was going to say too, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was... never mind, that will do for now.

  • Oh... It was about slummy Mummies. I washed my hair yesterday AND had a bath, but it was the first time i'd washed my hair in over a week . I don't know why either, as I have to wash my hair separately (I have to keep the shampoo off my excema-y places), and when I do it with the shower head over the bath Izzy finds it hilarious. I hope she remains that easy to ammuse ;)

  • Just re-read that - it was the first time I'd washed my HAIR in over a week... not that long for the rest of me though, i'm not quite that bad. Must read before I hit that post button ;)

Lashing it down here... Thought my poor cat was stuck out in it so have been periodically opening the door and calling her... Just went upstairs and guess who was stetched out on the bed!

On the presents front, my sister always seems to buy Aimee something she's scared of... Giant duck heads that quack tunes... Or toddler size scary dolls... MIL used to buy her a pile of cheap tat whenever she knew Aimee was going to be visiting... Stuff from the pound shop and complicated paint by numbers that always stank of cigarettes... Easily thrown away seeing as she never visits... And it's gotten easier since hubby stopped talking to her... But sadly that won't last forever...

On swimming costumes... I wear swim dresses... They cost a fortune but so worth it, I feel a lot better wearing one than a normal costume...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

All this talk of swimming costumes has led me to sort out my summer clothes ready for my hols. OK, still 3 months to go but I can be prepared! Have decided I need a magic swimming costume... and some magic shorts... and a magic sundress or two!

Oh and cold, grey and miserable here.
