I'm lucky that my boys have always been fine with hats. Although as they have got a bit older they seem to want to wear the peak sticking out any which way but in front:rolleyes: apparantly that's the 'dorky' way of wearing it:rotfl:

Well, what a few days I have had!! Kai decided to spend two days chucking up pretty much every other bottle, then he (obviously) wouldn't settle and then wanted feeding much sooner each time. It was a bit of a nightmare to say the least. He seems fine now though and since yesterday afternoon hasn't been sick once. He also slept well again last night, which I'm glad of as I have been like a walking zombie!!

Luca also decided to stick the two fingered V sign up to dh, after being told off for behaving like a lunatic:mad:. Which he keeps doing lately and always ends up hurting Jaden:mad: He got sent to bed for the rest of the day and has been banned from all games consoles and computers until next week.
Dh went up and had a word with him a bit later (after he had calmed down) and he knows what he did was wrong. He was in tears about it for hours, and when it got inadvertantly mentioned the next day, he burst into tears again.

Things seemed to have settled now, and I can smell something stinky:p so I best go and investigate.

    Mel x

Tom's not a hat wearer at all. Even when he was tiny he would fight to take it off. We're going to Florida in the summer and I'm a bit concerned that he won't wear a hat and I haven't even tried sunglasses.
  • We both wear hats all the time, so I'm hoping Izzy will want to be like mummy and daddy :) I spotted a swimming costume & legionaires hat earlier which doubled up as a ladybird costume. It was in sainsburys. They also had turtle ones. DH wouldn't et me get one though :(

  • Pink princess, yes i was starting to feel a bit brighter until i had what i think is am implation bleed today. Mentinoed it to DH that things looking more likely and it went down like a lead balloon. We even ending up having a conversation about him thinking i tricked him!!!

Anyway after hurt feelings all round we are still at a stale mate for another week. He wants an abortion, for me I can't live with that. Can't say i fancy being preggers again with two around my ankles but "you can't get rid of them can you".

Not really wanting a miscarriage either but if i'm honest it seems to be the only way to make DH happier. We are going to try and get some councelling when I get the positive test. Really think i will now.

Feel sad as many people struggle to conceive and twice now we've had unplanned pregnancies, think we'd know better at our ages.

    Sorry carp post!!

ooh this could be good I found the kiddicare set I told you about and it says its free but also says its £19.99 and not available but there's over 64,000 in stock??
There are reviews that say they got them for free so maybe worth emailing kiddicare to find out - worth it if you get them for free!! :D

My baby is poorly today :( he keeps throwing up all of his milk and food, and i mean proper sick-completely different to his reflux. First time he's properly gagged then puked everywhere. He's been sleeping loads, not like him at all in the day.

If he doesn't keep his next bottle down, i'm not sure what to do apart from keep trying him with sips of water to try to keep him hydrated?

We gave him some baby ibruprofen earlier as he was rather hot and unsettled after throwing up so much.

    keely.

    ps-my carpet now stinks!!! lol.

Went to Tesco Extra and got Natasha a Tommie Tipee, Tip it Up Sportster 12+. I wanted to buy a few different ones but the choice was really limited and seemed to be all babyish looking or 4 month old no spill cups.

I tried her today with it and although it took her a few minutes to figure it out, she had about 80ml herself so really good even though i did give her the rest in a bottle.

We went to feed the horse's earlier, she is usually asleep by the time I push her along the lane but stayed awake today! She was quite scared at first but started patting them and even gave one a carrot but she wanted it back straightaway and started crying when the horse ate it, lol

Bailey - you could still be jumping the gun a bit here. The bleed you have had could be due to the pill and the morning after pill messing your system around a bit. You seemed to have convinced yourself that your are pregnant but before you go thinking so far ahead wait til you do a test.

If it is positive i hope your OH comes around a bit. If its meant to be its meant to be. But wait until the result before planning the rest of your life.

    hi to all,
thanks so much for all your really positive replies this week.
after her accident at morrisons last sunday, i took her to a and e on monday, spent an hour an a half there, x rayed foot 3 times!!!
    no break or fracture.
the doctor says she has soft tissue damage to her big toe!!
will bruise then get better, they were fantastic, such a shame morrisons were not!!!
spoke to a solicitor who said without a break/fracture they would not proceed.
but i could take it through a small claims court.
unsure what to do, just feel very let down by morrisons!!!!
you are all such a support, thank you xxx:A
