purple, just to cut through the vinyl top layer.
I usually go in a random psycho slashing style :rotfl: but maybe a line in the middle going the full length would mean it came of in a big strip :)

MFD - hope all is ok down there :) I remember mine almost stopping then coming back again and the GP said that it coming back was a period but I think that was at about 6 weeks that it went/came back then that was it.

Mel - thanks hun :D Sounds like Kai will be a little podge :p

Chris has just been singing that song that goes "go baby go baby goooo" then once he'd stopped he said "I singing to baby" with a big grin :T

ooh beccles there's something satisfying about stripping wallpaper isn't there?! if only putting the paper up was as much fun! :rotfl:

I'm the other way round! I don't really like stripping it off, but I love putting the new stuff on, especially the really fiddly bits round windows etc. I'm dead anal about it, and if it's not perfect, I'll rip it off and start again :o

I agree with the advice given about the wallpaper border with scoring, but think more scratching than digging a big hole in it!

Charlotte's song for the day is the "butter and apples" song  :rotfl:

SB - Glad Jamie's cough turned out to be ok.

I love all kinds of diy, from decorating to building fences or sheds!!! It is usually me that does most of it as dh isn't so keen and will put jobs off, whereas I am quite impatient and want things done yesterday:)

Sami - you would think Kai is a chunky munky wouldn't you, but he is just like the other two......very stocky and strong and very long, I don't know if you can believe this but his toes are touching the ends of his sleepsuits already, and they are aged 0-3mths!! I am going to have to pop to town within the next week or two to get him 3-6mths.

    oooh - we're back :D

Pleased you had a good trip out Mel. My boys want to go and see Marley and Me at the cinema, but I've read the book and was in tears at the end, so I know I'll cry like mad at the film. Think it'll be better getting it on DVD :o

Had a panic here last night. Had bathed Charlotte and we were on our way downstairs to get her milk. Got to the top of the stairs and she slipped and bounced down the full flight. I was all shakey, but she cried for a minute or so, then ran into the kitchen and said "want milk now". She's been fine since so I don't think there are any lasting effects but it was pretty scary at the time.
Here I go again on my own....

There is a chain of cinema's not sure which that do mum n baby screenings but I always think well at least if it was just my bubba I'd at least see SOME of the film but other babies would cry too :p
