James has got Raynaud's. Went to the shops this morning to get more woolies as he's lost his gloves again, but struggled to get some. All the shops have got rid of the winter stock and there are loads of shorts, swimwear, cotton dresses etc., on sale
Oh, and IPSEA might be helpful if the school aren't wanting to assess.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Thanks very much for all the links. I've got to go to work this morning, but I'll have a good read later on.
I'm in a shopping centre next week for work and I think there is a Millets there, so I'll have a look. Managed to get some thin gloves in BHS, that'll do for now. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Lu- I have a book called the science of parenting by margot sunderland. I haven't red it but my OH has and he says it's really good. Its kind of a guidance on sleep, crying, palying and general emotional wellbeing. Not only it tells you what to do but explains why a child thinks in certain ways. I picked it up for £2 in TK Maxx but its a good few months back.
My baby's left year sticks out more than the right one. My MIL says that its because I dont check if they are bent whilst he's sleeping. Is this true? Or is it just genetic? I've been looking at my ears and they are slightly sticky out?
Hope you'll all have a good day today! I feel really happy today!:j

His left ear is now sticking out more than the right one. I did get him a neck pillow so at least when he slept in the pram sat up a bit it couldn't fold and in this cold weather you can flatten it a bit by keeping a hat on him0 -
Thanks Lwcus - I was actually thinking about a book to read with Imogen to help her make sense of what she's feeling. Any more ideas?

Hi all,
Been reading lots here in 24 hours. Sorry to all the people have problems with their LO's at the moment, we are all going through a difficult patch it seems.
I'm going to have to add to it im afraid. I've been diagnosed with skin cancer and waiting for a referral. I had a basal cell carcenoma removed back in 2004 which was benign, but had another removed in December and its cancerous. They want to repeat the procedure to widen the area margin to prevent further spreading. However its already come back as the area is raised, itchy and hot like before and is sensitive to touch. I woke at 5am this morning worrying about it and all i can think of it the lady down the road who died of cancer in under a year leaving a 6 and 2 yr old. DH is telling me not to worry its not as serious, he's right of course, but i'll still worry until I see the consultant.
I haven't googled it yet, not sure if i'l frighten myself more by doing so.
PS haven't noticed sticky out ears in my two, will go and look now!0 -
oh bailey poor you. but DO NOT google it! you'll read good bits and bad bits but its human nature to focus on the bad, so DON'T DO IT!! try not to worry. when will you see the consultant?DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY
