Poor you Bailey, it's one thing after another at the moment. Sending hugs and hopefully your appointment will come through quickly and they can reassure you. Try not to worry too much in the meantime, easier said than done I know :(

Thanks Lwcus - I was actually thinking about a book to read with Imogen to help her make sense of what she's feeling. Any more ideas?

http://www.healthybooks.org.uk/category/3/ has a synopsis of various books which may be useful.

  • Bailey, I hope the appointment comes through very quickly, and that this procedure is the end of any troubles with it.

Oh Bay. Hope your appointment arrived quickly and you can understand more about your situation.

I've had a close relative with cancer and the hardest part is not knowing any kind of detail, so really hope you get to talk to the expert soon. And I'm with Nad - DON'T Google it. You brain will be on overdrive as it is without feeding it more so-called 'facts' off the internet.

Big hugs to you and the family xx

So sorry to hear your news bailey *hugs*. Hope you get your appointment soon and they can put your mind at rest.

We've had really heavy snow here today. Took the boys and Charlotte out sledging after school and Charlotte loved it. She was giggling away as we sped down the hill :D

After noticing I was the only parent in a sledge, Joshua said it's cool having a Mam who hasn't grown up yet :o :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....
  • Bailey - hope everything goes ok and you dont have to wait too long x

Last week DD! who is just 15 had a fit - totally out of the blue and very unexpected - I didnt cope very well as I have never seen anyone have a fit and thought she was dying as she was blue and not breathing - OH was in at the time and was brilliant til the ambulance arrived. The hospital wont look into any causes unless she has another one ( apparently quite common in teenage girls) but this is makin me a parnoid parent and am checking on her constantly - if shes quiet I think shes unconcious, if shes noisy I think she is having another one - Im trying not to let her know I am checking as its driving her mad:confused:

ooh poor you and DD and OH!
A lot of children have a fit for one reason or another and its just a complete one off, I hope they didn't need to treat the fit (I know where that stuff goes )
Did they tell you how to deal with her if she has another just in case?
