I slapped my OH the other day because he refused to put his belt on to nip to the shop. I said I didn't marry him and get preg with our 2nd child for him to die like an idiot and leave me to bring them up alone!

    :eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl:
I wouldn't want to meet you in a dark alley! :D
My dear hubby has refused to give up smoking even though he promised to do it while I was still pregnant. It's probably the only thing keeping him going though :rotfl:.

Some say I'm highly strung even aggressive - I don't know what they are on about
I think he did it just to annoy me after I'd pointed it out  He loves to wind me up - I have know idea why because he always takes it too far, makes me snap and then ends up regretting it - I'm very good at holding a grudge :o I still hold grudges against people and its been so long I can't remember why :rotfl:

My Mum n Dad split up over his smoking when they were teenagers, they were apart for a year or 2 and then bumped into each other at a party, starting seeing each other again and she told him that she would never marry a man who smoked so unless he quit soon she'd be moving on  He decided she was worth it :T
Although I think its a bit late on for you to take that standpoint :rotfl:

We then had to fill in some sheet of what we did in a day at that time and what we would do in a day after the baby was born.
:rotfl: We had one parenting class where dads came too. DH and my friend's DH were nearly sent out of the room for bad behaviour, because they just COULD not take seriously the questions about whether they thought things were going to change after baby arrived, and kept looking at each other and giggling like a couple of girls, and then they'd set me and my friend off too.

Who else got told not to carry the vacuum cleaner upstairs every day? To wait until your OH came home and let him carry it upstairs one day, and downstairs the next? You think I vacuum every day? :rotfl:

my goodness you girlies were all having a chat at past 11pm last night whilst i was zzzzzzzzzzzzzz fast asleep. how do you stay awake to that time with children! i'm nodding off at 9!

i've had a bit of an input on the handwashing thread too. think it was me who told you that it was getting off topic with the car seat thing CG lol. But I agree I would go    if ANYONE put my baby on their knee in a car - i would go mad if they even suggested it!

Speaking of car seats my car is in for service since last night and i've go this teeny tiny little thing as a courtesy car and it doesnt have isofix so I'm gonna have to work out how to use the seatbelt on the car seat that'll be fun  . I dont think car has front airbag so gonna put Oz in front seat as its a 3 door and too difficult to get him in the back, that'll be amusing.

Just had this months which? through post and article re car seats. If anyone wants info on best buys/value car seats let me know and I'll look it up.

My LO was breech. We had other problems during pregnancy so we had no option but a c-section at 34 weeks. The consultant had said in the weeks before that i was being monitored that if i was to go to 37 weeks and baby still breech she would consider inducing me for a vaginal birth. However, the chances of the birth resulting in an emergency c section is 7 times higher than a non-breech baby.
I really wanted a natural birth, had even gone to hypnobirthing classes. When baby was still breech at 33+ weeks I tried homeopathic remedy. I know they say that you cant feel the baby turning when it does but i'm sure that my LO was trying to turn. He didn't succed as I had hardly any amniotic fluid.
I would love to have a natural birth next time.

Erm, we have one upstairs and downstairs otherwise nowhere would ever be done! :o :rotfl:

PS: I do it every day! If I didn't then the laminate floor would look like carpet due to my doggy!

ive had both - a section and a natural birth and i can honestly say that as long as the end result was a healthy baby (and me!) i dont much care how its done, i never felt like i had missed out on a proper birth cos i had a section... but that might be because i have delivered vaginally
i say natural.... i did a 14 hour labour all on gas and air,(and a tens machine)

oh by the way i think Lu is trying to communicate with us....
what is it girl? timmy fell down a well??!!
