PP info on Chicken pox here http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Chickenpox/Pages/Introduction.aspx?url=Pages/what-is-it.aspx
I don't think its fair to risk other people as it is classed as "highly infectious" and I would think that you could carry her germs into the hall/audience but I don't know that for sure

I woke early so decided to hit the shops as soon as I've finished this coffee.

My thinking is that anything I can't get now, I can pop out for and try and get this evening.

This thread is cursed! Celia is all poorly sick too, she's all bunged up with cold but the poor little mite spent yesterday violently puking up mucus :-( (cue one dash to the doctors, they did say she was fine though, just very scary for all of us!)

I hope all th children, parents and grandparents are feeling more themselves by Christmas.

This thread is cursed. I've got a really horrible sore throat, and last night had a big bout of hives all over my body  , so took some antihistamines for it. Now the rash is gone but my throat is ten times worse due to the dry mouth because of the antihistamines.

And my big food shop is not done either.

Here's hoping for quick recovery for everyone by tomorrow night!

Sorry to hear all the illnesses. Hope everyone recovers and still has a good Christmas.

Tesco wasn't too bad first thing. Managed to get everything I needed and it wasn't too busy. Plenty of cars piling into the town when we left at 9am though.

If I've forgotten anything now and the local corner shops don't sell it, then it's tough :D

Has anyone here had experience of using infacol?I started giving it to my 2 month old colicky boy on the weekend but he seems worse today. Is this the norm for infacol-does it take a few days to get rid of the trapped wind before symptoms improve?
Hope everyone who's ill starts to feel better soon. Happy christmas xxx

My HV said to use it as per instructions for a week before judging if it makes a difference or not, I used it for a few months with Chris but looking backI'm not sure that it made a difference or if I imagined it

  • I used infacol on Jack and I think it did help, took a few days though. DIdnt do anything for Molly but I used Dentinox on her and it worked better, so its probably best to see which one works best for you.

Semi-Bee I'm intrigued by your signature. "Proud Young Mummy" In your pic I guessed you to be about 25, then had another look upon noticing that and thought somewhere between 21-25. Go on put me out of my boring misery. You can tell i've been stuck in a few days can't you??

Sickness bug has taking up lodgings here too. DS2 has been unwell since Sat, but especially Sun and Mon and he is better today, but still quiet.

Samantha has been nonstop crying & moaning since last night. I slept the whole night with her in my arms, and because I had such a bad night it took until nearly 10:30 for me to get out of bed this morning. She has been much the same, but about 30 mins ago, she decided to climb off my lap and although she isn't tearing around, she isn't attached to me by the boob anymore  . Hopefully it lasts ...
