So, how does driving a 4x4 stop you from having another accident? You drive one of the most environmentally unfriendly types of car out there, yet would be too embarrassed to be seen using plastic carrier bags (especially ones from Aldi/Lidl/Netto)? See, I believe you use the hessian bags because it's fasionable to do so right now. I believe you couldn't give a rat's !!!! about the environment in any way, shape or form. If you did, you wouldn't be driving a 4x4 regardless of any accidents you may have had in the past.
Go forth & multiply, you are making a right **** of yourself with the misquotes about the carrier bags.0 -
Good god. As far as I can tell Schamansky was the first to start attacking one person (pg11). MrsE 's comments may have been distasteful to some of us but at least she's not out-and-out rude to one person in particular. :rolleyes:0

Is the 4x4 yours or the taxi your DH drives?
BTW, I actually ventured into Netto today and bought my little girl a Silver Cross dolls version of her own pram. One of their 'bargains' of the day. I will think of you when she opens it on xmas day...
I'm delighted you got a bargain, I hope she loves it.
Before you jump on the band wagon, try actually reading what I've wrote not what I've been misquoted as writing.
4x4 wouldn't make a very good taxi, I need my own car anyway, to get to work, but as I'm on annual leave this week I can spend as long as I like on any thread.0 -

I didn't see any goading posts. I saw a bad poem. You seemed to take it personally.MrsE wrote:He called me "white trash
After you called him a low-life chav thug. He also said he was joking.
MrsE wrote:I just though it wasn't very nice the way I was being singled out, rude comments HAVE been made on both sides, but it wasn't me who made them.
Doesn't explain or excuse the sexism on your part.

I honestly don't even see why they would be distasteful, I was being ironic when I addresed the comment about the carrier bags (to show the silliness of it).
Many of my "quotes" have been jokes (WITH SMILIES) to inject a bit of humour.
When I DID point out the few luxuries we do enjoy, I made a point of also saying the list of things we DON't do in order to afford that.0 -

I posted this...........I wouldn't dream of s1agging anyone off for using Aldi/Lidl/Netto for their weekly shop, but I personally choose not to, as its my hard earned money if I want to take it into M&S & Waitrose & the big 4 then thats my choice.
While I'm above s1agging anyone off for their choice of shop for THEIR weekly shopping, it seems people who choose NOT to shop their & buy unknown (to them) brands are fair game & are ripe for a bit of micky taking:rolleyes:
Respect goes two ways:cool:
Schamansky quoted me & answered me with this..................Schamansky wrote: »You fork 60 pounds, and what do you get?
A small bag from Waitrose, and deeper in debt.
St Albrecht don't ya call me, cos I can't go...
I owe my soul to the M&S store.
Yes, you may shop where you want. Just don't expect anybody to stand in shock and awe for where you spend your hard earned money.(Not like you did.)
Respectfully Yours,
Schamansky
I don't think it was necessary at all.
Notice I DON'T misquote, I put the whole lot in;)0 -

Hey!! Can we stop that now?!?!
It's still better than anything by W. H. Auden!!!
:rotfl:
All that aside, I herewith solemnly declare that MrsE is not "white trash".0 -

What I see there is a bad poem and him saying he's not impressed with the boasting. You did come across as boasting earlier on in the thread. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
