The worst smells i've smelt in any shop are the staffs armpits in Primark.I thought they'd started selling onions:eek: "You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

I work in sainsburys and have a staff discount but I still prefer Alsi for a few things. Once a week I go in there for 6 loaves of the 37p bread whcih I think is very nice and far superior to Sainsburys basic bread. Also we like the salami and the european cheese slices, especially havarti which I never see anywhere else. For me it is not a supermarket where I could do all my shopping as a lot of the items I need are not stocked. But it is on my run which includes the butchers the farm shop the local co op and sometimes Morrisons as well. No I don't have huge amounts of time as I work full time and look after my family as well. But I am a moneysaver, that's why I am on this site..Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

I dont think aldi/lidl aim to be a supermarket where you could do 1 shop well imo you cant get everything you want,0 -

I've had the same problem, and yes I do keep it in the fridge.
I think the problem is that (in this case) Lidl don't. It comes frozen and is left in the yard to defrost. Sometimes they leave it there too long.0 -
