  • Emily, I love reading your posts, you have had such a hard time these past couple of years but yet you remained determined and positive, all I can say is keep these up! You will get through this and come out the other side an even better person than you are now. X

  • Hope you are feeling better this morning. You need to sit down with him and be as calm as you can, just ask him to be totally honest with you. That is the least you deserve. And trust your instincts about whether he's lying or not, we women always know the truth, in our hearts. These things are horrible to go through, but they make us so much stronger xxxxxx

    Hi,

Fairly new on the boards but just wanted to say that I know how you're feeling, it's a nasty thing to happen.

I guess what you do will ultimately depend on whether you want to continue with your BF or not...you may not be ready to make that decision yet so take your time. If it were me & i wanted to carry on, I would ask to meet this person or at least know some more about her & how this 'thing' started.

Put yourself in his position - if you had an admirer of this sort, would you have told him about it?

However (& this is my own personal view) it sounds like the trust has gone from the relationship so it will be hard to recover that ground.
    sending you a big hug.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Oh Emily, I know exactly what you're feeling right now and I wouldn't wish it on anyone at all :o:o Trust your instincts, whatever he tells you and whatever you want to believe, your instincts will generally guide you as to what to believe ;) PMme any time you like hun, I've been through it and its horrible, truly awful, but once you get to the other side (and it takes ages  ), you'll feel so superior to him ;):D Big hugs hun x
