  • am just off to bed but couldn't read and run, I think one of the worst bits in this kind of situation is that you know really whether its true or not. I remember distinctly the moment I found out my BF was cheating on me, I just knew. he could have lied his way out of it, but there was no point. I KNEW.

Its essentially horrible Emily, it really is. And I am sorry, cos like other people have mentioned you post lots of good stuff here. nice people like you don't deserve !!!!bags as boyfriends. its the universe's way of saying move on he is not good enough.

I am just going to ramble meaninglessly now if I carry on typing, make a cup of tea have a good sob and fall asleep.

please don't feel alone, you did the right thing getting rid of him its hard but you are ok, honestly you are.

    BIG HUGS

  • Poor you!

I don't know whether you are correct and neither do you by the sounds of it and I think that can be the worst thing as that is where the doubt creeps in.

Maybe you should talk to him again, hopefully he will have had time to realise that he doesnt want to loose you and will be more honest and open.

I hope you managed to get some sleep last night and are feeling a little stronger this morning.

    Big hugs

  • Emily - I'm so sorry hun and as much as I'd want to believe his 'obsessed work colleague' story, he's showing some classic behaviour patterns there of someone who is seeing someone else (and what a fool leaving a card on the side - unless he actually wanted you to find out ?!)

I hope you're ok... make sure you decide when he can come over and collect his things... take control early on!

I hope you managed to get in touch with your mum or someone close last night/today. I would be inclined to agree that it all sounds a bit fishy and the uncertainty would haunt the most laid back of people.

Be strong and everyone here is ready to support you 110%

    Hi Em,

sorry to hear the grim news, I agree with others that it doesnt sound good, however I would like to point out that men are easily flattered & it is kinda flattering to have someone so deperately wanting to be with you, so he may be innocent & just not know how to have told you about the bunny boiler...

I used to hate my xbf reading me texts & emails & opening my mail, not because I had anything to hide, just because we were'nt married or living together & it was a privacy issue. He was always suspicious though.

On the other hand, only you know if you believe him or not & like you say once the trust is gone...it's very hard to recover.

Either way, you're a fab person & deserve much better treatment & if you decide to end it for good with him then please come & join the single & really cack at dieting thread,

take care & lots of hugs hon,

    lula xx
