2 commemorative glass pints got stacked together after an ale festival, shoved in a bag and forgotten. it's a coupld of months later and i can't unstick then! any ideas anyone?

    - i've tried hot soapy water and grippy silicon jar openers

    - i've searched the forum and Cleaning index to no avail.

    thanks.

Stand the bottom glass in hot water and pour cold water into the top one. Give them a minute and you should be able to separate them.

Squirt some WD40 between the glasses giving it a few seconds to work and then gently pull them apart, but wash them well afterwards.
  • The (not reccommended!) pub way is a small knock on the bar / worksurface at the point where the top of the bottom glass is. Not recommended for nice commemorative glasses for obvious breakage reasons, but works a treat in cheap pint pots!
