What did you do to them the first time that meant they couldn't possibly forget you :eek:0 -
I've never been asked, but always have ID on me anyway. To be fair, it DOES say to bring some form of ID with you, so tis your own fault for assuming that they wouldn't ask this time."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

I send my OH round in his RM uniform and RM ID.... they dont ask for ID even when the parcel is for me... but we live in a rural area and the DO is at the back of the local post office....maybe thats why cos its so small. But the advantage is you can pick a parcel up normal PO hours 9-5.30 Monday-Friday, or 9-12 on a Saturday, which is helpful.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

You only need ID when the parcel is to be signed for.
I only get asked when picked up a recorded delivery item. If its a 'item too big for letterbox' the card itself is proof you live there and you shouldn't need personal id.0 -

Not round my way - they always ask for ID, even if not sent recorded/special delivery."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
My postie leaves cards when we're in! He hides them in the middle of the letters. I opened the door to him once when he did this, and asked him for the parcel. Guess what? It was in his car further round the estate. Naughty boy.0

Hi,
Just a quick question If anyone can help me about royal mail. I have recently had mail go missing. When I saw missing, I know for a fact bills that should of arrived havent, as well as dvd I ordered which gets sent via royal mail. I have not seen the postman since for days till today. How can I find out or report that I have missing mail? Thanks0 -
Our postal service is crap. We used to have 1 regular guy and everyone knew him. Now it is just different part timers and they don't even do the same round every week. It arrives at any old time as well. Rubbish.Don't grow up. Its a trap!
Peace, love and labradors!0
