Hmpf. I doubt I'm the only one a bit peeved that they've chosen to cut prices for every other opening except this one

(the TV ad seems to suggest that they learned a hard lesson with Edmonton).

Oh well, at least it means that I don't have to rush back from visiting the Outlaws over Christmas (and instead can browse at the Bristol branch instead)

What's the deal with MK Asda's coupon policy? Sometimes the cashier has refused to take vouchers for items not bought, other times they accepted it with no problem. Is there an official policy on this?

Are any post office branches in MK open now, and if not when do they open?

Note that although their webpage for the MK store states "Please check this page frequently for up to the minute news about our progress, the opening day, and our plans for celebration", there is still no news or info about the opening. Not very encouraging.

  • Am I right in thinking there is a Next Outlet/Clearance store somewhere in MK?? I think its on an industrial estate but can't remember where. I'm visiting relatives in Stantonbury tomorrow and seems like a good time to check out the sales!!

    Thanks for your help.

Yes it's in Bletchley, next to TKMaxx, Boots, Argos, Wickes, Halfords, B&Q(I think that's all of them!!) at the big B&Q roundabout - I don't know what it's called I'm afraid - on the old A5 watling street. :rudolf:

Yes, went yesterday. Got there at 10.30. A little slow getting in, but parked OK and no queue to pay. ALthough I passed by at 12 today and there was a queue to get into car park.

Good luck, might be worth getting there early, or parking in Asda and walking over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to visit Ikea and you are a local shopper I have been in the evening twice and it has been easy to park and no mad rush, I got there around 8.30 at night and it was fine.
I was going to put off going for a few weeks but it is fine now. There were no special opening bargains at that time of night but it was really great to go to Ikea and be home within 15 minutes. My OH is pleased as well as it means he doesn't have to come with me as I can get bits now and again instead of him having to take his van and do loads of carrying.
