Have you seen this item in The Citizen:
http://www.mkcitizen.co.uk/ViewArticle2.aspx?SectionID=415&ArticleID=1310103
A CITY student was horrified when she found a dead mouse squashed into the cucumber she was cutting while making a sandwich.
Sasha Pipe of Fishermead Boulevard, found the small mouse shrink-wrapped to the side of the vegetable she had bought from Tesco in Bletchley.
The cucumber, believed to originate from Spain, was shaped around the
rodent, which had been there for some time.
IT student Sasha says she was nearly sick when she made the grim discovery.
"As I was cutting it I looked down and saw this little black thing, when I looked closer I saw it was a mouse," said the 17-year-old.
"I nearly cut it – what if part of it went into my sandwich?
"I was almost sick, it was horrible – you can see its little ears and whiskers," she said.
Sasha took the cucumber back to the store.
"I spoke to a lady who wasn't very helpful and only offered me a new
cucumber and my money back," she added. "I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was one.
"There was no apology or goodwill gesture – I
wasn't impressed with their customer service.
"I don't think I will shop there again."
A Tesco spokeswoman said stores are not allowed to pay compensation but are supposed to take customer details so customer services can deal with the complaint.
"We are sorry if Miss Pipe is not happy with the way in which this issue was handled," added the spokeswoman.
"The quality of our products is very important to us and we are keen to speak to our supplier."

I googled for "Milton Keynes College" to find it.
Hope it helps, as it was something I could answer after reading about the Joys of Ikea and not been able to add to the discussionpurely because as much as I would love a 'wander' I saw the queues twice  and thought it better to wait

Hi, just wondering if anyone has tried any of these E-bay sales places - I noticed there are 2 of them now in Milton Keynes - are they any good, does anyone know? (I never seem to be able to sell stuff on Ebay now, thought I might give them a go!)
Thanks very much!£160 in £2 coins saved so far!

Also, hope this is the right place to put this, but my mum needs to get a suitable hat for my wedding - but we didn't really want to get a second mortgage to pay for it! Does anyone have any recommendations for anywhere we could try?
Thanks again!£160 in £2 coins saved so far!

Could try the Debenhams sale for hats - they usually reduce a fair few.0

Darbooka - re. the E-bay sales places - I only noticed their adverts in the local paper, I haven't been round to have a look at them yet, so don't know if they seem like reputable places - I wonder how successful they would be! I might go and have a look another day though.£160 in £2 coins saved so far!
