If only intelligence on Iranian nuclear production was this good...
Tonight, just before closing, Disney store in MK changed its signage and inaugurated the super-dropped sale pricing. This is the ultimate in Magic Kingdom paraphenalia! Perfect for buying gifts for the rest of the year (if you have any dosh left at all). For once a real actual sale. And hopefully Mickey Mouse will help us all get our minds off the Tesco Bletchley cucumber stowaway.

Also, hope this is the right place to put this, but my mum needs to get a suitable hat for my wedding - but we didn't really want to get a second mortgage to pay for it! Does anyone have any recommendations for anywhere we could try?

    Thanks again!

Is the kangol hat factory still in Luton.. the do lovely dress hats as well. This is where my MIL got her hat forour wedding.. based in Luton town centre and more than HALF of the store prices.

Darbooka - re. the E-bay sales places - I only noticed their adverts in the local paper, I haven't been round to have a look at them yet, so don't know if they seem like reputable places - I wonder how successful they would be! I might go and have a look another day though.

Where are the Ebay shops?

    Hello there Milton Keynes people!

Moved in to our new house about six months ago and desperately need DOUBLE GLAZING! Can anyone recommend somewhere to go for a good deal and as least hassle as possible from salesmen who want to come round and spend two days with you before they tell you a price?

    Many thanks

We used Anglian in Bletchley - haggled really hard at the end of a month (when sales targets are due) and got a very good price with arguably the best product around. Had a slight glitch with the back door and they came and sorted in a couple of days - no problem at all. So comes with guarantees and peace of mind.

WE did have a few other quotes, but Anglian was far more professional and their product was loads better quality. They also gave me addresses in my street that they had done as references.

They can be more expensive, but I had already had a couple of quotes and called them in last, so they beat the quotes - which was the plan all along as I'd already done my homework and had decided on them anyway (almost).

Feel free to PM me for details, contact.

They have to clear out their stockroom of old stock to make room for new.

Right at the front of the store is a display of loads of cards, birthday, Christmas, fathers day, blank and last night they brought down a box of last years valentines cards.

Fill a bag for £1 - can get about 20 cards in a bag.

The sign at the enterance says clothes on sale are at least 50% off but many items are closer to 90% off!! ie, Skirts that were 20 quid reduced to 2.50 ; found some skirts that were 25 quid and were being cleared for one quid! Handbags that were 20 quid now 2 quid ; nice ladies shirts for 1.00; got some kids tishirts .25p (those are gone), babies jacket that was 10 quid, for 1.50. You get the picture But scrutinize the till receipts carefully as sometimes the latest reduction price doesn't come out at the till (they're marking them down so fast the system isn't keeping up) so you can go to the customer service and claim a refund and keep your item free if overcharged.
But it seems they are limiting - or have limited space - for putting out the sale items so be prepared to come back frequently. Well worth the effort as you can get hundreds of pounds of clothes for a tenner or two. Very poor selection of mens sale items though. Sorry, blokes.
