Simma, it's not the size that counts most though.
Hey, didn't someone previously mention IKEA 1-quid breakfasts? I was there at 9.30 today and couldn't find any quid breakfasts although the refillable hot chocolate and sesame bread rolls are very nice. Bet beare: the ice cream machine at the snackbar near the tills has a sign that says NO REFILLS. At 10am they announced that the store itself is open and the blonde announcer lady didn't waste any time putting the mic where here mouth is and rambling away. Fortunately they at least have the minimal dignity of not putting loincloth man on show whilst breakfast is served! Good on IKEA for that.0 -
Have you seen the TV ads for the IKEA sale...?
"Excluding Milton Keynes"
I guess IKEA knows there are plenty of customers who'll pay full price so there's no need for a sale here.Could you do with a Money Makeover?

Picked up aroll of versatile silver gift wrapping paper and it was in the shrinkwrap packaging but had no barcode or label on it. Till lady was stumped as to how much it was so she manually enterred a code and the machine called it a bakery product for 11p. That's a great deal. I think it was the last one of its type there though.
Tesco Kingston has inflatable snowmen and inflatable santas (the outdoor type, so set your fettishes aside, ladies) at 7.50, down from 29.99.0 -

Well it transpires that the 1 quid hot breakfastas at IKEA are supposed to be a feature of the store. Often there are signs advertising this on site. When on Saturday it transpired that the hot breakfasts weren't available we approached a manager who said that the cooks were running late and that we should shop and come back at 11.am (when those breakfasts are supposed to be over anyway) - an hour and a half later. So it seems the IKEA MK store mayt be either trying deviously to boost its restaurant revenues or is not keeping up to company schedules with regard to making the hot breakfast available. Complaint will be forthcoming!0 -
Tesco Bletchley - Tescos own mince pies down from 98p to 24p - sell by date 20th Feb. Loads left.0
