I will hope it will not get as bad as the IKEA opening in Edmonton :(

I hope so too! However, with the smallest disrespect possible to those from Edmonton, MK is (in places) a lot more affluent than that area of London. Ikea admitted afterwards that having such ridiculously low opening prices in a low income area such as Edmonton was a bad idea.

I'm moving into a new flat in Broughton in early January - hopefully just in time for the Ikea opening sale (fingers crossed that they have one!)...

Ikea usually have a very reasonably priced cafe in them and their swedish meatballs are fantastic. You get them with gravy and a red berry sauce, yum.

Intriguing... The Chicago hot dogs at Costco are also tastey as are the jacket potatoes.

I know of one who's a family friend.... but off the top of my head I can't think of his phone number... he's not in the Yellow Pages... goes on recommendation only... (really helpful, I know). All I know is that he's based in Haversham...

I've texted my mum (it's her friend)... will PM you if I can get a number...
  • Well, I went to Asda today and what can I say - it's big, brash, and I think I'll be sticking to Tescos!
