  • They offered me £50 for my old PS3 which considering the PS4 is out now I thought was really decent. Love that they'll come and collect it from you too!
  • I'm going to do a trial run with some ps2 games that tbh I was just going to bin but after reading so many bad reviews of them as a company I'm not willing to risk sending anything worth much.

    As for newbies posting in the companies favour with great reviews well that makes me trust them even less.

    Well I have never used them before, and as I waited in for the courier for 12 hrs and he never turned up it looks mightily like I wont use them again.
      To those who are given much, much is expected

            We cleared out a load of CDs and got around £85, not bad! some of the cases were slightly worn but they still accepted them. No problems with the courier service either which was nice after hearing some bad things about them..!

          3. I thought I would give MM ago as I had loads of CDs a family member gave me for taking to car boot later in the year but thought I'd take a chance on them, I included my iPod 3rd gen which was well used with visible scratches on back but wasn't damaged at all and still worked I described this as poor quality due to this after 2 weeks have received an email for the 1st package that the ipod isn't worth the £6.90 they offered but £1.90 as it has a damaged case...??? The iPod was sent in the box with the CDs wrapped in bubble wrap and put in a nice thick jiffy bubbled envelope wedged between CDs none of the CDs were damaged even though they was just put with out bubble wrap in a box

            I have contacted them by email but still waiting a reply have noticed others have had same problem has the offer ever been changed back to what they offered or have I been conned? This package was meant to be worth just over £50 if that means anything :{

            Another parcel with 30 CDs what got sent at same time for £9.98 has passed the assessment

          4. I thought music magpie looked good on the ad when they show you getting a £50 check but I entered some of my things once to see how much they would give and it was something scandalous like 10p for a perfectly good game.

            It might be a perfectly good game, but it might only be worth peanuts on the 2nd hand market (low demand or high supply). 10p sounds like the "we don't really want this game, but it's not on the no-sale list so we will offer you the lowest possible".

            Electronics, like other sites where you send them in, rarely will pay out the quoted price, stating they had scratches on

            Received an email back from MM stating that [QUOTEOf course we are sorry if this is not the outcome you would have liked, but the terms and conditions are very clear about the classification of tech products and in this case this item in question was not up to standard. The products are all comprehensively tested by apple-trained individuals with years of experience who know the signs to look for during quality control.

            Which is great so annoyed as I have photos clearing showing the item is in the cond. I described

            It sounds like it's time for a public name 'n' shame, perhaps by someone like Watchdog.

            Since a number of the posts above seem to be poor attempts by MM to influence their public image, perhaps we could persuade them to register someone here as a Company Rep, and put forward their point of view?
