If you had a glut of After Eights, what would you do with them?
I am sure there must be a recipe using them as a cake icing or similar somewhere ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Add some broken after 8s into the cream cheese mix for a cheese cake plus a few drops of peppermint essence if you want, you could also mix some into a chocolate mousse, melt 1 or 2 into a cup of drinking chocolate, melt some with a little cream to make an icing over something. HTH0

Save them for a dinner party and play the game where you put them on your forehead and have to get them into your mouth without using your hands.
Or, melt gently into an ice cream sauce...God is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

Storing potatoes-please can someone advise me on the best way to do this..I am having to sometimes chuck them away as I haven't got room in my fridge and they go green in the cupboard. Has anyone tried one of those earthenware potato storage pots?
Thanks for any help.0 -

They go green when exposed to light - have you tried putting them in a paper sack in the cupboard
Alternatively buy in smaller quantities so that you don;t have need to store

My potato's do great as long as their in the dark most of the time so they go in a bag in the bottom of the kitchen cupboard though they do even better in the back of the garage. - I've had a bag of spuds for over tqo months without sprouting/green! Mushrooms I've never succeeded in using all of them before they go manky  Tried the dark and paper bag but it just went soggy!0

Thank you very much-I'll try the paper sack, as I need to buy in bulk.0
