Hello:hello: Managed 100 days without choccy, didn't loose much weight though  Had some chocolate given to me for Christmas, but I just don't fancy eating it:eek: .Maybe a good thing ,cos once I start eating I forget when to stop:D .
If there is going to be another challenge like this, please put my name down.
    Thankyou

glad i'm not the only one who gave up the choc but noticed that i didn't loose any weight:mad::rotfl:

Have had some chocs over the christmas period but haven't been too fussed about them. Will be glad when they get eaten up and aren't in the house any more.

Think i am definitely going to set myself, no throwing out food/things that are about to go off due to not being used up, for 100 days. You wouldn't believe how many things i found earlier:o

I'll also do the no buying beauty products, other than essentials, ie i know i need some conditioner as my only bottle is running out.

Starting 1st Jan, I'm going to do the 100 days with no chocolate. I'm not overweight but have put wieght on and getting a bit of a tummy.
  • Right my Hundred days are up too,

I bought shampoo and conditioner cos I had used my mine up and I had to buy cleaser toner and mosituriser cos using all my odds and ends made my skin flare up. oh and deoderant - but that is an essential!

BUT considering buying tolietries was a weekly occurance I am pleased, I didn't get any new make up or body lotions and have using up TONNES of stuff. I don't feel I have wasted any money which is fab!

I am back in it for Jan, once I buy my moisturiser (which just ran out) and my face powder ( pretty much the only make up I use!)

    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Yay 100. days of buying no coffee is up. Guess what I am going to splash out on, biggest Jar I can get my hands on.
Startingmy next 100 days today so it ends day before son's birthday, but this time around its going to be no takeouts/meals out for 100 days.

Hi, can I join in as well please?I did magazines previously which I will keep on doing, from January 1st I will stop buying chocolate!
Happy new year all and good luck.

    xx
  • I am definitely back in for January. I loved this challenge and although I went a bit wayward at the end (the last week of it I started buying chocolate) there is no doubt that it vastly reduced the amount I was spending on crap I didn't really need.

I got more shower gel/bath stuff for Christmas so I am probably worse off than when I started the last 100 days for that. I can see that side of things might end up being a 365 challenge.

I will have to audit my shampoo, conditioner etc and see what allowance I will give myself for the next 100 days and then also work out what else I will add into my challenge - lunches at work I have got to put in as I have been a bit rubbish with that of late too and it is eating through my money. I am allowing myself to buy in bulk some facial wash (if I can find it) when I go to America in February as there is one that I love that is really cheap (works out about £2-3 a bottle) that you can't get over here - I will allow myself 4 bottles of it and it lasts ages so that shuld see me through the year.

Before 31st I will have a clearout of my cosmetics, bin what I don't need [will never wear again] (I'd best warn the council to put on an extra bin collection) and will replace my foundation and concealer as it is now very old and I don't think it is so well as it should be and also replace my mascara and I should be all set.

Sooooo - magni, will there be a nice shiny new thread for us to sully on 31st/1st or will we make our pledges on this one?

I'd like to join this too if I may. I've seriously fallen off the dfw wagon since October and really need to get back on track. I'm back to work on 5 January and I have decided to do 100 days of not buying anything while I'm at work. I had been spending loads on lunch and snacks so not buying these should save me a significant amount (and as I don't get paid until the end of January then this will be really good).

    Many thanks.

  • Hi all, I am fired on all cylinders I am stocked up on shampoo, conditioner and got loads of stuff(that I didn't want!) for crimbo to use up. I brought conditioner which is the only thing I needed so bring on 1st Jan, I can't wait! I am planning on using lots of bottles and replace them with environmentally friendly products with littel packaging. Best of Luck everyone!
