DS has started on his old bedroom (now works away):

- several cardboard boxes

- my old dead iron (IN: new iron :rolleyes:)
DHis steadily building a new fit-for-purpose computer desk out of 2 old flatpack ones,having rebuilt a ricketty bookcase to fit new location = it's like free furniture :money:I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
i'm back on here, i was doing really well not long ago and got pretty straight but we still haven't gotten around to doing lots of car boots to get rid of all the things we put aside for it, so you can't really move in the only storage spaces we have which make the rest of the place look terrible.0

Oh dear, I've been meaning to come on here ever since retirement hit at the end of 2008. (Hangs head in shame)
However today we have finally cleared the garage. Sadly nearly everything went to the tip, but never mind.
So,
OUT: broken vax, several rusty garden chairs, old boots, old paint brushes, tins, boxes, odd items of china, etc. etc. Three boot loads in fact.
I was sent indoors because I kept trying to rescue things I'd forgotten we had - so it's DH who needs the praise (and is now very achey!)
Ah well...it's a start.Resolution:

3 ebay parcels all packaged up so 8 badges, 12 cosmetic samples, 2 bags, 3 envelopes/jiffys and some other packaging out (well will go to post office tomorrow).
Done quite a bit of cleaning but not a great deal needed chucking away but emptied bins and put wheelie bin out for bin men in the morning and house is looking better, even if it's just because stuff is in the right place now.:rolleyes:Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

- another recycling sack of paper,
- a sack with squashed cardboard boxes from computer bits etc,
- half a binbag of rubbish
- a box of assorted bits for the charity shop.
He also went back with my spare kitchen utensil holder & a set of salad servers :rolleyes:.
He promises more decluttering next time he is home - as does DDI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
