A hanging basket made up so that's put a few things that were lying around/on the windowsill together and hopefully it'll cheer up the front of the house soon.

But did go out to some training tonight and came back with a few more bits of paper - need to file them carefully now

lovely linen top for work, from TK Maxx

    Out

a bin bag of clothes I'm never going to wear again for the charity shop (well, nearly out, sitting on the shelf by the back door ready for Friday's town trip!)

not quite such a big bin bag, but a bag nevertheless of junk from son no. 2's bedroom, which I bravely tackled today. He's back from uni in a couple of weeks, so it needed 'bottoming' before the next onslaught - the summers holidays are long and the room is not a tardis....

*Right. Off to tackle the airing cupboard now.... wish me luck!!!

Today I found out that my local household tip take garden waste. And I've got a friend giving me a lift there on Sunday with a load of electronic tut. Guess what else is going in the van now! I'm dead chuffed.

    Didn't do very well today:

    In:
new dressing gown, pjs, skirt and 5 pairs of pants from Sainsburys (it was 25% off clothes and all but the skirt was on my things I need list).
2 cookie cutters from Lakeland - free with voucher
Cuticle stick thing - really small so won't take up much room ;)
And lots of food as we did our big monthly shop but that won't last long
No post but we did get a card through the door for a free day at the local posh gym at the weekend so that'll be out soon - junk mail's not all bad.

  • Just started my great de-clutter at the weekend so thought I would start posting on here to keep me motivated. The reason for the de-clutter is basically a big spring clean. Its amazing how all this stuff just seems to build up.

So here it goes – so far this week

    Out

Six bags of books/clothes to the charity shop
Two bin liners full of rubbish/recycling
A pile of stuff to take to the tip at the weekend

    In

    Nothing

Early days but lots more to sort out.
