Do you want one of ours? They're in that small material mountain by the back door - yessssss - airing cupboard's done, and excess, exhausted sheets, towels and a blanket from our old dog basket are all there ready to go out tomorrow - various homes promised, depending on the level of how worn out they are!


Embarrassingly, the dog's been dead for 14 years - though the blanket is a nice one, I'm not altogether sure what I was holding on to it for - I've never found another use for it!

Thanx 4 the offer mandragora, but I 2 have an equally large surplus of old sheets/blankets etc! :rotfl:
It's pushed me on to clear out though and luckily my kids primary is having a bag to school collection!
The school gets paid £200 per tonne of clothes, so i'll be donating it all to that, coz we walk to school it'll save on fuel driving it to the charity shop.:T

Well the tetrapaks finally made it to the recycling place, was full last time we tried and have been driving round with them in the boot for days waiting for another go

3 more things into the charity bag (I know it's pending but in my eyes it's gone)

Paper into recycling and some bits shredded, lots of veg peelings into compost bin and dead plant too.

Food and drink from tesco, almost all on offer/reduced went because a couple of things were on offer there and not at Sainsburys yesterday and they do something Sainsburys don't that we like - but it'll all get eaten/drunk and all squirrelled away now - apart from a reduced bunch of flowers
