Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I appear to have completely lost track of my life... I have 2 weeks left at college so have to focus onthat then the children have 5 weeks of school.. and I don't so I will be attacking the hovel then... I have 3 rooms to decorate then I can repaint everywhere to freshen it up and it might look like a reasonably habitable place then!
though.. on the other hand I am considering moving.. in which case it'll look nice when I've gone
I have a list which is immense...
the first 5 things... (I can only do one thing at a time)
1. finish filling the holes in my bedroom wall (doing 1 wall at a time)
2. Box up DS1's stuff and put it in the loft
3. Sort through the boys clothes.. they have both had massive growth spurts.. I need to swap over their cupboards as well as the younger one has miles more stuff than the bigger one.
4. finish curtains in the middle room
5. complete insurance claim
These are not in any particular order but will all get done eventually!! (I guess!!)LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Good luck Pigpen! Take it easy and take small steps is my advice, just one thing at a time.
