Wow - one box sorted and contents put away/paperwork filed/ disposed. - by 10.20am :j. I am going to do a box a day.
I did the childrens reward charts, and did one for me and OH too!!:rotfl:
I have to sort out a box a day, put one load of ironing away, do an hours paperwork, and tidy up the kitchen by 10pm. For each, I get a star:j, and after 6 I get to have candles and a long hot soak.....
On to the paperwork now!!0 -
I receive my subscription to this thread every morning on my blackberry and I read it before I get out of bed. It really motivates me, but then I get up and go to work all day and before I know it, its bedtime and I haven't done any decluttering! I did get some ebaying done though so thats a few bits out. Trying to persuade my friend to have a boot fair with me.
I have a couple of new rules clothes wise that I will be enforcing. The main one being, don't buy anything unless you love it more than your current favourite item of clothing. That way you're constantly improving. I have been on a selfimposed clothes buying ban for ages, so when I use this rule I will also adopt a one-inone-out policy because all my stuff is in tatters.
3 Years ago i was packing up my stuff to go back to uni for my final year, and I counted my knickers as they went into my case. I had in excess of 70 pairs most of which were new and pretty decent. I decided then that I wasn't going to buy any more til I needed them, and save for a couple of slipups, I've been true to that, but now I need new ones. So have decided that every week I will buy one new pair and get rid of 3 old ones.Wins 2012: £50 Love2Shop voucher, Lets Dance tickets, Juan Zelades CD, bluetooth speaker, Blackberry 9360 with £30 credit a month, Chocolate, Maybelline Goodie Bag, Hunter wellies!0 -
