Ancient pair of slippers found under the bed, binned as nobody else would want them!

Magazine and various leaflets into recycling

    Pending

Couple of tops and a pair of jeans added to Ebay pile
Top and a few bits of costume jewellery added to the charity bag

Charity bag will go on Saturday, but I will probably come back with new clothes and/or shoes as itching to spend birthday money! Am now going to try and implement the 'one in, one out' policy on anything new I buy...

ooo - make sure what you buy is always nicer than what you get rid of!

We renovated our house first time around on a very tight budget. As we were able to, things got re-renovated over the years -so lovely to be able to have the choice to buy a bit better next time round - you feel spoilt, but sooo virtuous because you waited!

Out - Me far too early to work this morning but

In - Me, now, after a very long slog. So in also goes one long bath and one glass of wine.

No time to clear clutter, but on the other hand, also no time to create it!

    • lots of carpet samples - we're having some new carpets last month so had these dropped off a few weeks ago so we could choose

No don't throw them out. I use them them as mats. Once was passing a carpet fitters house and he had loads of sample books knocked on his door and asked if I could take them. And they said yes. Used them as mats for the front and back door. Could throw them away if they got really manky.
