No don't throw them out. I use them them as mats. Once was passing a carpet fitters house and he had loads of sample books knocked on his door and asked if I could take them. And they said yes. Used them as mats for the front and back door. Could throw them away if they got really manky.

Ancient pair of slippers found under the bed, binned as nobody else would want them!

Magazine and various leaflets into recycling

    Pending

Couple of tops and a pair of jeans added to Ebay pile
Top and a few bits of costume jewellery added to the charity bag

Charity bag will go on Saturday, but I will probably come back with new clothes and/or shoes as itching to spend birthday money! Am now going to try and implement the 'one in, one out' policy on anything new I buy...

I love this 'pending' thing. We have stuff that is going but not quite out of the door yet.

Keep posting, chaps. I love reading this. Just feeling a little envious because we are nearly at The Big Sort Out (after we moved and renovated from last August) but not quite there yet.

Did get rid of assorted items to the charity shop on Friday, though.

Then I went made and bought 2 pairs linen cropped trousers, one linen skirt, two linen tops, one T shirt and a jumper from all the other charity shops in town.

So I think it's a net gain. Failed. I'll do better next time
