I'd like to join in with this as we don't have a loft and the spare room just keeps accumulating 'stuff'. I feel in the mood for a good spring clean and clear out.

    In
    A new bra from M&S

    Out
Paper and cans into recycling bin

We are starting to sort out tomorrow, boyfriend will go through his moutain of clothes on the bedroom floor and also clear the porch of tools and assorted car parts.

I will be going through my clothes to see what needs to be got rid of and also putting away my heavy duty winter jumpers now summer is hopefully on the way.

Also want to clear out the stuff lurking at the back of the pantry and go through the kitchen drawers and cupboards.

Already have a pile of toys and clothes to list on Ebay, but haven't found the motivation to list those yet.

Will let you know how we get on. Think this will be a pretty long term project!

Cosmetics all sorted - 10 things thrown away/emptied and packaging recycled, list made and on a mission to start using everything up now, will only buy something new when something is almost empty and needs replacing - for some things that won't be for a long time!

4 new items of clothes in yesterday oops - :o - (but from Sainsburys 25% off ;)) Next plan is to sort all mine and OH clothes and clean and tidy bedroom.

Oh dear, just missed post 1000! Sounds like you're all going great guns - well done.

    IN:
Lots of plants from our hols
    Easter eggs for the kids
Our dd (she had hols with in-laws, our first break just the two of us for 10 years)

    OUT:
Bag of old clothes ready for the bin (too bad to recycle)
    Paperwork
    Eggs for the nephews
2 ds's (on overseas hols with school, back tues)

Had a day at home with no kids (!) so managed to find floor in 'walk in' wardrobe. Problem is I now cant find the floor in the bedroom... Have binned some old clothes, I mean some of my gear is from the 1980's/1990's. Need to finish the job and try to make our bedroom look just like a bedroom.

Lots of dds old bits to get rid of - moses basket, bouncer, car seat etc. May try ebay for a few pounds. Have discovered baby baths on ebay are worth nothing but inspired to try to use it as a planter for lettuce and bedding this year if hubby doesn't object.

Now dd is walking a bit and much more mobile, the need to declutter downstairs is more urgent. Will need to address this as soon as possible - if only I had another day free, I could do so much.

Will keep plodding on - I WILL have a lovely home one day.
