Reporting back after quite a good weekend decluttering and cleaning wise.
Have thrown out about 20 'past their best' cosmetics and have sorted all my other bits - have started the new 100 day challenge on the debt-free wanabee forum so I can try and use up what I've got already and not buy any more - hopefully most space and more spare money... (2 things finished and thrown out already)
Quite a bit of packaging and other rubbish and recycling has gone out - including 12 catalogues/magazines from magazine rack.
1 newspaper made into paper pots for plants I bought today - need more compost though - saves me buying lots of plastic pots that sit around the rest of the year.
About 5 items of clothing for recycling/charity shop.
Doesn't look like a huge list but it's another step in the right direction, and just some gardening bits in today which will go outside, most have already.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I found a black bin bag in the garage today that contains all the bits that I took out of my old car in June last year...started looking through it then thought "if I haven't missed it in nearly a year I don't need it now"....bag placed in dustbin! now for the rest of the garage...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
