I'll rescue spiders in Berkshire, I don't mind them either.
Congrats to Dazi on the new job.
    Good news Jayward.
Charlies Mum, great pic, love your outfit.
Had a really exhausting day at work, one member of our team really doesn't pull her weight & today she dumped all her work onto 3 of us, I was already busy as we have a whole school assessment going on, I had a paper delivery, 180 boxes to put away & them I get her job dumped on me. My complaints were loud & voluble, lets hope someone takes some notice.
We had chicken stuffed with cheese & wrapped in bacon for tea, I also cooked a piece of gammon in the remolska & made fish pie for tomorrow.
    Have a good evening.
    Hugs Hester

Has anyone offered to do the spiders in Staffordshire, if so, I need their number on speed dial.....I can do worms, snails, slugs, woodlice and very small beetles. Ok I'm a wimp lol.

I do tend to kill spiders I see, well chuck a load of heavy papers on them and wait till OH comes home. Before I was with OH, I lived in an old house and there were loads of spiders, my DS used to work at w/e and stay with his dad on the Sat night, when he came home on the Sunday evening, there were various glasses, pyrex bowls around the place waiting for him to deal with the spiders :rotfl: Bless him, he used to take them all outside......I was not amused as imagined them all coming back in and laughing at me.

Thank you all for your congrats re my job, am still pinching myself that it is happening! I will have to get up early tomorrow to do all the things I should have done today, so am ready for Wednesday. Will be doing full time hours this week as the person training me will be away for the next fortnight (gulp) so after that will do my normal hours, 29 a week, 2 days full time, 3 part time, but the full time days change.......confused? me too, will have to see how it goes lol

Frugal - does the register office not have nice gardens? only asking this as near where I used to live, the register office at Lewes, has the most amazing backdrop for photos. My ex SIL got married there and her photos were lovely, much better than the ones she had taken at her blessing at the local church. When I got married it was in December, so all the church photos looked like something out of a vampire movie (hmmmmmm maybe that should have warned me!) Think your guests would want to come to have photos taken wherever you have them done.

    Hi again all :hello:

All this talk of spiders has reminded me of something that happened at work - my then boss (and good friend) was bothered by something itching her leg. I suggested she go to the ladies and see what it was - as she stood up and walked away, a huge spider fell out of her trouser leg

Of course, as she walked back the whole department was singing, "Spiderpants, spiderpants" to the tune of Spiderman. :rotfl: :rotfl:
    [strike]I didn't start it [/strike]:D

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I once got the postman to come in and remove a large spider for me!:o :D

anyone removing them in Worcestershire?(or Herefordshire or Shropshire as I'm on the border of the 3 counties)

Dazi - congratulations on the job:beer:

got the lawn mowing done and 3 loads of washing and ironing, also made a cake for a friend so quite a productive day!

forgto to mention as well as spiders I had an encounter with a frog today:eek: while lawn mowing, luckily DH was there and he actually picked it up:eek:   and popped it over the fence into nextdoors garden - I think i prefer spiders - frogs make me feel ill!_pale_
