Afternoon all:hello:
Didn't get time to post yesterday as was still decorating DDs room, as well as counselling her, and mediating with her and her ex waste of space. She's finding it hard to come to terms with the fact he wanted the baby, and was great beforehand, and has now changed beyond belief!!!I have not time for him now, knowing what else we're all going through
.Tallking of which Dad has been up in agony for the past 3 nights, the doc is going round today to hopefully up his medication, as the morphine dose he's on isn't working now
Anyway OS wise I have a pan of potato n leek soup simmering, it's DDs and Dads fave soup, and i'm gonna put another coat of emulsion on her walls. She's expecting it all to be done by tonight, but the paint's cheap crAp, so i've told her to get some one coat stuff .My TD is on the blink too, the button keeps popping out and it stops, but I can't afford one right now, so have stuck some blu tack on and pressed it back in.
HUGGLES to all the poorlies and peed offs today, and CHARLIESMUM you looked fab in that dress!!!
Oh and talking about spiders I've removed some massive ones this weekend as DD is terrified of them.I'm not so it's ok but hate moths, butterflies and daddy long legs, yep I know i'm weird

talking spideys -a couple of years ago I walked into the kitchen in the dark with barefeet, when I was coming out I felt something pop under my heel. I switched the light on there was the biggest spider squashed to my foot . I nearly had a fit. even now it gives me shivers thinking about it0

Afternoon all.
Happy birthday Mr Jannyannie.
Charlies_mum, the dress looks great, I think you should wear it again, find an excuse!
I've been MIA over the weekend, as usual. Had our 5th wedding anniversary on Saturday. We went and had a bit of lunch at the Swan Revived, which is where we were married; we had the civil ceremony downstairs, then had a room on the 1st floor for the reception, and had a Handfasting done before the reception proper started - I can't believe it's 5 years ago! Anyway, back to Saturday, we went to the cinema in the afternoon; I have a disabled persons card that lets my Carer (Mr LW) in free. Home for a bottle of champagne in the evening.

We have lots of spiders at the moment; I actually like them, and spent ages yesterday watching one spin her web on the outside of the kitchen window. It's a work of art - and a good excuse not to clean the window!
Mr LW requested soup for lunch yesterday, so I did pasta & potato soup and HM bread. There's enough for tonight as well, which is good as he's on late shift today. I think we'll have banana split for pud.
Hope everyone is well ((((hugs)))) for those who aren't or have family who are poorly. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hi everyone!
I had to choose some flowers for my mothers birthday today. Sounds easy doesn't it, but she hasn't spoken to me in 18 months and that means I get very nervous about sending her something I hope she will like. This is what I ordered in the end and I added another 50% in so she will get 15. HERE. I just hope she likes them.
Mr Jannyannie - Happy birthday to your OH
Charliesmum - glad the wedding went well, and you looked fabulous!
MrsMix - hope you are continuing to get better
Beth - big hugs
Jet - hope your daughter feels better soon
I hope everyone is having a good day
*Hugs* to all and congratulations to anyone who is celebrating today.

KAAT it didn't scare me:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ooh are the smileys workin again.Anyway have made a delish veggie curry for tea, as DD is off meat at the moment which suits me fine, cos there's no way i'm cooking or buying it for her:eek:
The Docs been to see Dad n told Mum there's no limit on the amount of morphine she can give him, as the pain cancels out an overdose.Sounds weird to me, but they know best don't they;) He also has lympohodema, but luckily not spinal cord compression[STRIKE]yet[/STRIKE]:o
My Bro's actually gone to see Dad so i'm looking for a fanfare of trumpets smiley    can't find one so that'll hve to do.
Anyway off to pretend i've been busy all day, as DD is due home at 4;)

Afternoon all,
OH to hospital for stress test and fitting of monitor this morning, then back to collect DGS2 from school, DGS 1 has a bladder infection so at home to-day. Logged on to check email, one from Ryanair confirming our flights to Alghero next Monday...realised that I misspelt my surname and have put 'ts' instead of 'ra' in middle...€100 to change a name but not sure if that means when its misspelt or just changing to someone else...not sure what to do, obviously don't want to spend the €100 but don't want to take the chance of being left behind either! Will have an overnight think, couldn't get through to Ryanair earlier to ask them, but they are sticklers for their rules and to be fair tell you that at all times....feel such an idiot.....
Welcome to any newbies, you will enjoy it here.
Charlies_mum....you can't be mother of the groom...sure you are not his sister?? You look wonderful and I would kill for that outfit, if I could fit into it!!
Electrical stuff coming tomorrow, hopefully all will be well and I will have a decent kitchen soon, have picked the tiles but may have to wait until after holidays for tiler to do them...dont really mind at this stage.
OH seems to be ok after stress test, will go back with monitor to morrow, no appointment with cardiologist yet, think that it will be December.
Hugs to all who are unwell, have unwell family and congratulations to those who are celebrating.

Hi everyone
Sorry not been about much.
Beth, glad to hear things are going ok xxx
(((hugs))) for anyone who needs one.
Charlies mum, glad weather was fine and you all look great in the photo
Sorry for other stuff I have missed xx
Am a bit woolly headed and excited as went for yet another interview on Friday and have just received phone call to tell me that I have the job, am starting on Wednesday, think I may need to buy a bottle of wine to have a little celebration tonight, alas, OH will not be home tonight, I know its a 'school night' but please feel free to join me.
Re the spiders, I hate them, also hate all the things you said Candy, guess I am just a wimp :rotfl: We managed to have one hitch a lift back from my mums the other week, it crept into a bag we had left in her kitchen. She says it has returned and has invited all its mates as they seem to be overun with them at the moment. The ones I hate are those great big ones in the bath, you turn the tap on and they spread their legs over the plug hole and look at you as if to ask, well, whatcha gonna do now then! lol
Today, before I got the phone call, I have recovered a chair and thats about it really, now I can't do anything 'cos I'm thinking, 6 months not working and place looks a tip, need to get cracking but keep running about like a headless chicken:D
Right, am going to get off here, hoover and tidy round, then pop up shop.
Sorry for the long and disjointed post, but head is all over the place at the moment :rotfl:One good thing is, Christmas is back on the calendar now I have got work.
