Mrs Tittlemouse I can't imagine anything worse. I think I would have woken the whole neighbourhood, no the whole County with my screaming    ;) I remember putting on an old pair of shoes I always kept by the back door and feeling something in there once, and when I took my foot out a half conscious spider crawled out. That absolutely scared me witless, but one in my mouth !!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunny that looks a lovely place, enjoy

Charlies Mum - lovely photo, you all look very handsome and happy!!

Just made some hobnobs, will wait for them to cool and will give the boiler man a couple with a cuppa, that should keep him happy in his work ;)
  • Morning all, late at dropping in this morning but i've been busy, DH is on backshift so we had a bit of a lie in, and started tidying up the garden.
Had a brilliant weekend, at friends on Saturday night, stayed over, got up early yesterday morning and headed of to bootsale. Got some really good bargains, a pair of brand new DP trousers for 20p, a lovely old copper gas kettle for £1.50, and BARGAIN OF THE YEAR a food dehydrator, never been used for £1!!!!
Got the lunch on now, a nice chicken casserole, will get DH off to work and then i am going to dehydrate everything i can lay my hands on!
Popped in yesterday and had a quick look at the thread on them, but got the instruction book to refer to.
Charlies _mum lovely outfil, looked like a great day!!
    Love to everyone
    Off to play now!

charlies mum, that dress is beautiful you look lovely.

been doing more cleaning and decluttering over the weekend, also went on a bike ride for the first time in years, dont think my bot has ever been so sore:o . took a tupperware with us and did some blackberry picking while we were out so have got a nice stash for crumbles in the freezer now.

must do some ironing and more tidying today, im sure the house looks messier since i started decluttering:eek: .

got to take youngest DS round in laws after school tonight his homework was "to talk to his parents about WWII. How old does his teacher think i am?:o , anyway they have some good tales to tell grandpa saw a plane crash over the city while he was camping out in his mates allotment shed and granmda got roped into the war effort by making underpants for the soldiers. so with that and all the battle of britain tv we watched over the weekend he should get an interesting paprgraph written.

  • Mrs-moneypenny - lol! My dd1 once asked my mil what sort of dinosaurs were around when she was a girl!

dds seem to be alive and kicking now, so will leave them with oh, who has decided to clutter up the house and work from home today, and get off to do some chores! Finger's crossed that all is okay at the bank!

Some lovely spidey tales today, at least my cat is OS, he eats them _pale_

Charliesmum, you look stunning and what a lovely dress.
Bootsbabe, don't go dehydrating the OH.

My big Tesco have got some baking tins/trays reduced. They are the Professional range and are quite sturdy. I've bought a 35cm x 25cm roasting pan, it's got deep sides and should come in handy, It was £4.50.

I've got some 2 fruit cake loaves and some fruitcake buns in the oven, making the house smell lovely
