Thanks for all good wishes/comments re water! Naughty Valli nearly blew her boiler up today! That would have been funny - not - after a full week of BG vans parked outside. Been told before they like visiting this area cos our little shops have a cafe very popular with workmen because there is free parking and lots of it! You wouldn't think a cafe in a housing estate would do well ... but it does. Talking of cafes - how's it going Tia?
Off to pick DS up from footy training.

Brilliant, maybe you could start trainspotting on the way to leeds - if it's a commuter train, you'll be pushed up to the windows anyway so it will give you something to do.... Oooh, sorry, but was just imagining it...

Im going to try not to post and run, but I forgot DF is going to Edinburgh tomorrow! He still needs to pack (thank goodness I bought toothbrushes for cleaning:) )
I've found stardrops...I think. I posted a "wanted" on freecycle and I've had two responses giving me two definite places and two maybes.:j
So guess what I'm doing tomorrow first thing? Maybe it will help with the tiles.
I'll be around quite a bit in the evenings over the weekend since I'm alone.
Im a bit worried about DS though because we've not been a whole night without daddy since we got here.
I'll take him to playgroup tomorrow before looking for stardrops and then I plan to take him to the park on Saturday for an ice cream-and sunday he can come to church with me. He's used to the building because of Wednesday playgroup (he stays home with DF on Sundays) so it should be okay, and that will hopefully keep him busy. I'm almost tempted to spoil myself and let him sleep in the bed with me...(don't worry...I wont).
Im going to play a game of magic with DF and then have an early night with him.
(OR thats the plan) Will try to read a few posts whilst he's packing but if I don't get back tonight I will see you all on the otherside of stardrops:)

Back from the community meeting. Did my presentation. It went down well and I got the result I wanted - which is always pleasing

Still not sure if I'm going into work early tomorrow. I've had a text message which has prompted more questions than answers. I'm waiting for a phone call now.

Am now about to find something extremely quick to eat and unwind
