    Hi

i have finally caught up with the thread.

Pigpen i think you need to do the course you want to do otherwise your heart won't be in it.

Since my last post i took Ds2 to nursery on the bike:eek: it was agony i haven't cycled for about 3 weeks . It was much easier on the way home without a 2 1/2 stone toddler on the back:rolleyes: .

I picked him up and went straight to his friends birthday party where he nearly gave me a heart attack throwing himself down the massive slide. Then i went to Tesco to pick up a few bits, dropped my nephews birthday card & money off then came home.

I ate my tea, put Ds2 to bed, had a bath and thats about it.

Earlier on i made a chicken casserole in the SC, i peeled the potatoes and put them in a pan and i made the dumplings. I rang OH and told him when he came in all he had to do was put the dumplings in the Sc whack it on high then cook the potatoes. Simple you'd think:rolleyes: , he said shall i go and get chips instead would that be easier:mad: .

Oh well at least he did the washing up.

Before i forget it's our sponsored bounce tomorrow at Toddlers. I had another woman phone me the other day wanting to sponsor the children, the cheque arrived today and it's for £100:eek: :j I was so touched.

I cant be bothered to post todays list so im going to sort out tomorrows instead then i'll be back.

    BTW what does M.A.C.A.W. mean?

MACAW is Make A Change A Week. There was a thread about it a number of months ago - a few of us got quite interested in it . . . then it died a death LOL Basically you create a habit a week - concentrating on one thing at a time. So, if you don't make your bed each day, and want to, then you concentrate on that change for the week. Then the next week you focus on something else, while continuing to make your bed . . and so it continues. I think it's a great idea, but I guess it's time to change my siggie seeing the post has gone! LOL

  • Evening lovely ladies

    few replies from todays thread

Michelle – sorry you had a bad night again. Just remember to take a break when your boys sleep and PUT YOUR FEET UP AND RELAX sun-097.gif

DeniseNZ – well done for getting family involved

Howgreatthouart – love your screen name, seems somehow inspirational. Anyway hope you enjoy being with us all and just remember start small and don’t expect too much too soon its disheartening, and also that you are allowed to have good days, bad days, lazy days, and you are allowed to come on here and rant about your problems. It’s a great thread and we all support each other so hope you find what you’re looking for others-293.gif

Jjef – my floordrobe will take more than 15 mins too, so I just do 15 mins and a few more next week. It’ll be clear eventually

Johanne – hopefully the rellys will be coming to see YOU not your house. And have a great day tomorrow cake-077.gif

    MSD – sending plumber vibes !!! others-291.gif

Pigpen 51 miles each day is way too much – it does my head in doing 16 miles each way daily and my fuel bill has shot through the roof again as my usual lift has changed her hours. And if you want to be the hub – do the paramedic degree, now that is on the front line ambulance-016.gif
Or perhaps Valli’s post means you’re going to be a train driver train-045.gif

TAG – I got new pegs FREE from Lakeland as I spent too much others-272.gif

    Toochoosey – welcome and enjoy

Summer – I would ask too if you can wait for the next weeks list

Nicki – good luck with the essay, I don’t envy you at all thinking-015.gif

Hello’s and hugs if required to anyone else I have missed smileyhug.gif

Busy day at work today and come home feeling a bit pap (as was DS too) so got the kids their tea MSN-Emoticon-eating-190.gif
and then I got into my jammies and had toasted rolls with choccy spread for my tea and a feel good factor. Needless to say there has been no flying tonight as I decided that as I’m fairly up to date I would leave our bedroom til the weekend. I can even make lunches in the morning as having a late start again. Have updated the finances and watched some carp TV so going to have some more painkillers for my head and then off to bed

    sleep-043.gif

See you all tomorrow at some point
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

(it is NOT rude or spam.. I wouldn't do that)

YOU ARE EVIL!!!!! I really didn't want to look at that.

Evening ladies, well the reason I don't want to look at it and why I think DPs been a bit tetchy lately is he's found out due to a unitary council wotsit his job basically won't be worth doing next year as the area will be flooded with cabs and it's hard enough making a living as it is down there. He mentioned it tonight. I've been working out this evening what we can do without, get rid of etc if he job basically stops until he finds something new. It doesn't look pretty but I have a small plan should emergency status occur come April (inc getting rid of my car, caravan etc etc). I'm trying not to 'dwell' but I also need to be 'prepared'. Going to try to make some cutbacks now so it's not so harsh, not that we can make many without a complete lifestyle change as I am careful but I am sure there will be room for improvement first.

Anyway, not to dwell, swimming went well, new starters seemed to really enjoy it after a little reluctance which is fantastic!! Washers on here, try and reduce tomorrows work. Need to do quite a bit tomorrow before I take the kids up to the caravan, need to tidy/clean upstairs as my Mam is coming to use shower/get changed on Saturday before a night out while I am away, must remember to drop her a key off tomorrow, downstairs bombsite needs sorting too. Somewhere in the middle of that I need to go to Newcastle and take DPs jacket back aswell as figure out whats wrong with my PC, oh and pack. :rotfl:I think I should do a list to help me get organised :o
One day I might be more organised...........

Rejoice that you have freed yourself from it.. :D
    and how...

I am beginning to think, from that and Polka's problem that there are some very greedy needy people around. True friendships are MUTUALLY supportive - and believe you me I have needed support but I have also given, freely, when I have been able to. That's why I continued to work with a toddler group when my DD had left it ... I gave up when I became a mature student... I have offered help - both practical and emotional and I have received it...and I know I am not the only one.

If it were me I would have posted that dratted bag back now recorded delivery (but OMG I would be moaning about the cost) but I am a bit of a pleaser...

In the bag would be a note...

'I hope it was worth it...but I doubt it...posessions are replacable...friendships are not because every friendship is unique...I won't miss this one'

Aww what a shame - that was a good idea because you have to learn habits...
I know this because I still have 'coping' habits from when I was very ill with arthritis (apparently ...my mum keeps telling me what they are) and I cannot get out of a chair properly anymore I learned to push myself up now I no longer rise up like the fit healthy person I am - I have loads of stuff to unlearn! handcream every night would be good - oooh the 'good' habits I need...

Pigpen - I do a nearly 60 mile round trip each day and I quite like the 'me' time even though I have to be careful not to 'think' too much  I like singing along to the radio but I am in the car - you might not want to do that on the train :p Then again you might!!!

I could turn the Leeds to Hull bus-without-tyres into a cabaret car!!!!!!!!!!!!
