This essay is just not happening. I've tried all my usual tricks to kick start my brain but its not happening :o I think I'm going to have a whisky and go to bed. Maybe some sleep will make things clearer. I hope so - I only have 26 hours left to submit it and 3 of those are accounted for between the school run & taking DD to ex's  (note I never mentioned sleep....)

    Night all

dusty - just edited my post to wave at you! Enjoy the dahlia show tomorrow! How is your DS?

Hi Serena I'm glad your classes are going better. It amazes me that even at 14 DS1 is impressed when teachers give sweets. He is fine thanks. Arm is ok and he is making very little fuss. I never knew slugs liked wall flowers - I have hundreds of slugs - we collected over 100 in about 15 minutes one evening. Shame you are not closer - I have potted on 29.

PMSL!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Bad girl! :D

There's something about this time of year that makes me start panic buying for the 'c' word time.... This year however, I'm not going to. I am going to be more disciplined about it all, and not go mad buying tons of crap that no-one really needs. :money:

Polka I've been meaning to say, and kept forgetting..... maybe my toxic wretch ex-friend has moved near you, yours sounds IDENTICAL to mine. It could have been her sending that email to you. Sanctimonious b*tch. People like that make me forget that I'm a lady. Tell her her stupid bag's in a carrier bag in the garden, she can get it when she's ready, stupid cow.

    Beware RANT ALERT RANT ALERT!!!

My ex-toxic relationship culminated in a huge row, awful, and still upsets me if I think about it too much, where she called me every single swear word you can imagine, and accused me of being jealous and bitter??? About 18months later, she contacted me as though nothing had happened, filling me in with what had been going on in her life.  And then contacted me through Facebook when I hadn't replied to her first email .... I replied then, saying that some friendships are best left in the past, and wished her and her family well. Blimey, I wish I'd have said crawl back into your hole because the diatribe I got back ...... well, you know what, I've still got it, let me find the email

*wanders off to inbox* Ok found it....

This is an extract from the final email I had from her.....(by the way, I said it was a very difficult time for us all, not that it was "deeply traumatic" )

"I wasn't actually looking to resurrect a friendship, i felt bewildered and not very good about the whole thing, and i did often wonder about you and your family. But i have to take issue with your saying it was deeply traumatic for all involved, you engineered the situation. I didn't actually do anything malicious to you. You obviously had your gripes......... bile rant diatribe etc etc etc, I'll spare you the entire email!..... i thought your behaviour was very bad BUT not worth arguing or falling out over, it's one of those things, we don't expect our friends to be perfect."

    ************************************************
OMG, it was exhausting, and took all my strength of character not to be drawn into the row ...again..... She's like the Terminator... she absolutely will not stop!!!!!  You can't ever find a sensible resolution with someone like that. ... I could go on and on about but I really shouldn't ... it'll give me indigestion. :D

    Quick hello and goodnight.
I've got 24 casestudies left to write up. They're about 15 pages each, have to be typed and have to printed out not put on a disc. Talk about a waste of paper....that's going to be 100 x 15 pieces of paper...I guess I can do them back to back but it'll take hours. Grrrrrrrrr! I can't wait until Monday.

On a course all day tomorrow and then i've got the weekend off. Yeah.....

    Hugs to all xx
