    Morning all

Dusty – yes – the pathway/cycle thing (which was only one small element!) - thanks for your email - I'll do some digging for you over the weekend.

Lil-me – hugs on DP’s job. Is there any chance the merger thingy won’t be as bad as he thinks? Can he at least give it a little go? Surely anything coming in is better than nothing?

Triker – hugs to you and your DD – how scarey! Have one for me with Pigpen in the pub tonight!

Johanne - have a lovely day! :bdaycake:

Well, as you can probably tell, I've not had to go in ultra early today. Had a chat with the team lead on the phone about 9.30pm. Things aren't ready so there are options - one of which may be working on it at home over the weekend. But that's fine. We'll make a decision today. It's my brother and his wife's 25th wedding anniversary so they're having a bit of a 'do' on Saturday. I'd already decided not to stop overnight (they live 2 hours drive away) and just pop in for a couple of hours in the afternoon so that'll tie in nicely.

Better go and wash and dress and things. No census today fortunately.

    Have a good one ladies

Aww what a shame - that was a good idea because you have to learn habits...
I know this because I still have 'coping' habits from when I was very ill with arthritis (apparently ...my mum keeps telling me what they are) and I cannot get out of a chair properly anymore I learned to push myself up now I no longer rise up like the fit healthy person I am - I have loads of stuff to unlearn! handcream every night would be good - oooh the 'good' habits I need...

Oooh PigPen, could you add a M.A.C.A.W onto the list each week? mmmm, I think I might be needing some therapy... I think I've gone list mad...

    bdaysurprise.gifHAPPY BIRTHDAY! bestwishes.gif
Triker - How scary for you - I lost my Dad to an attack when my son was only small, and it is so annoying to me when people don't realise how bad it can be - they think it's just a bit of wheezing, and don't get me started on people taking puffers on TV shows... helps if they actually breath the stuff in!

you'll laugh though, when my hubby saw me have my first attack, he was panicing like mad - I was on the hospital bed pushing off the mask coz it was too hot and tight and making it harder to breath, and this is what he asked the doctor - "is it a subconcious thing, like in the mind" doctor replied - "well it could be, it depends" hubby then said - "so if I knock her out, would that help?" men eh! if they can't fix it, hit it! :rotfl: (and no, he didn't hit me - more than he dare do! )
