Hi Guys
Didn't get on here yesterday as I ended up being out all day. Dad and I put the caravan back into storage so that is another job done.
Just spent ages trying to catch up with you all suffice to say I have forgotten exactly what to say and to whom so please everyone have a HUG from me
Sorry to report that my friend's mum died late Monday night, she developed breathing difficulties although all the family were with her and able to say their good byes. Never an easy thing to say but my friend (and I) believe she is in a better place. She faced 9 months rehabilitation and that was if her other illness did not get to her first
I still have a few pages to catch up but am going to save those for later and in the meantime go and take some flowers to DH. It's times like this when I could really do with a hug from him.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

Morning all
Sorry to hear about your friend's mum AnW'sMum
Two loads of washing on the line, including my bedding. It tried to rain a little just now but didn't really have the heart for it so I left it out.
Bed remade, all bedrooms dusted and polished, mirrors cleaned, vacuumed right through upstairs.
Living room dusted and polished and vacuumed right through downstairs.
Planted my crocus bulbs. I decided to put them in a border I've got slate on the top of so I took off a carrier bag full of slate, then dug out underneath (took out some of my horrible clay soil and dug in some compost) then planted 80 bulbs and covered them with compost before putting the slate back. Fingers crossed they will grow, I love crocuses.
Hope everyone else is OK.0 -
Okay, it's not the same, but have a very big virtual hug from me AnW's mum. My thoughts and prayers with your friend and family. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0

Ok, that was great!!
Scrubbed:
bath
sink
loo
tiles
cupboards
window sill and it's stuff
shelves
shower screen
toothbrush cup changed
't-brush mug/t-paste/electric t-brushes/floss/mouthwash etc' Box put in DW (eeewww yuck)
So the bathroom is now clean and sparkly, except for the floor which I'll do in my next HHC after more to scoff!
How did y'do Orkney???MMSSB Club Founder Member

Morning ladies.
anw's mum my condolences to your friend and a big hug to you too. It is not an easy rehabilitation for spinal injuries. My dad was in hospital for 10 months when he broke his back, and suffers terribly still now in many different ways and i know he sometimes wishes he has not survived to live like this. It's hard either way for the poor family.
we had a rough night here with ds2 - up twice last night before bedtime, then awake and in our bed most of the night from 3am onwards, so i am feeling a bit jaded to say the least. I gave him a very small dose of lactulose to see if that helps. He needs something to help bless him, and not like i can make him drink OJ oir eat prunes or something.
On the bright side, at least my flying yesterday means i can be a bit more slobby today without feeling too bad about it.Also DS1 is out of sorts, he has managed to fall and bump his head twice so far, and i've saved him another couple of times, so i think a long nap today for him.
I have managed to:- WM - load of light stuff
- post 2 ebay parcels
- buy loaf and bananas
- post letter about magazine subscriptions for xmas pressies
- kids up/dressed/fed/washed.
Will check in later. x0 -
