    Afternoon all

I had DS1 home with his arm hurting first thing but have drugged him up and got him in for period 3. Done my meal plan and food shop and even got a bottle of nice wine half price to put away as a pressie for FiL.

I'm going to get the stuff up into the loft and a bit more down to ebay and then I'm having 30-60 minutes in the front garden doing the bits on my list.

  • Tia Think I should fight for a replacement? A nice corner sofa replacement???.....

Yes.... go for it!!! what have you got to lose? We bought our sofa & chairs from DFS 15 years ago!!! When we got it, it was really shoddily made, distinct lack of padding on any of the wood frame, so not brilliantly comfortable!! We called them in to inspect.... told them we'd had it inspected by and independent upholsterer ... (our mate who worked in a furniture factory!! ) Told him it wasn't good enough. He said "you're not supposed to sit so far forward on the the seat....." I told him "I paid almost two and hald thousand pounds for this suite, I'll sit on it how ever I choose, and you will be taking it back,. and getting it re-padded"!!!!! :D

He did... it was... and 15 years later is still really comfy, and not in bad nick really. So, yes, go for the replacement!!! :money: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi

    In my HHC i

Made curry in slowcooker ( bit late i the day but if i whack it on high it should cook)
Collected dirty laundry and decided to wait until Ds1 gets home from school with his rugby kit before putting it on.
    Took Ds2 to the toilet 3 times:rolleyes:

And thats it. :o Everything seems to be taking so long to do today.

I still need to do my dailies and flying plus my extras so i'd better get back to it.

This one was delivered 30th Nov 2006, so not that old. Plus we paid for the cover care (which has actually been worth it) so in all rights, they should replace it if it is a maufacturing fault. The two seater is splitting too, which I hadn't noticed, but it is hardly ever used.

It wasnt cheap neither so I think I will just chase for a replacement (or refund ha!)

*wanders off to look at corner sofas..*
