6 hours in school  I haven't studied some of the stuff the kids were doing today  Back in tomorrow for another 6 hours then I have 2 days at "college" where I need to sort out my CV (will probably end up being at least 2 hours knowing me) and do my time sheet on Friday to prove I've done 16 hours this week.

I'm exhausted, if anyone finds a way to extend the day without me cutting back on sleep (just over 5 hours last night :o ) then please feel free to let me know :rotfl::rotfl:

Just remembered I needed to put a wash load on, so its on a fast wash (30 min) and I need to do some study although I'm already bog eyed. :o I need to write out a list of what I need to do tomorrow...... arrrrrggghhhhh

  • Hi Everyone!
Been a hectic week so far! Just caught up on the thread tonight - whilst sipping a glass of pink wine.

Have still been flying though - and managed to get to level 2 on both days. Tonight I also managed to bake some cookies and some crumbles for the freezer with the cooking apples that DH was given at work today.

HUGS to all in need - I'm off to bed!!

    Night night!
  • Evening all and thank you, thank you, thank you Dusty. The link to the other thread gave me the solution. (Sorry, Valli, your idea didn't work)

Anyway, still keeping up with dailies but not a great deal else at the moment. First A & P session tonight and I'm sitting thinking OMG  what have I done. Woman next to me seemed to know all the answers, but when we had a coffee break she was saying that she did 18 months nursing training - explains a lot. Tutor looks like Catweazle, anyone old enough to remember - and if you don't - Google him. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway, I did enjoy it, came home and ordered text boo from Amazon. DS is starting the same course (to give him some more qualifications) so we can share the book.

I've only skimmed through the posts, but Polkadot, I'd feel like undoing the mending to the bag, but failing that, I'd just stick it in the post as suggested to get rid of her.

Off for my bubbles and bed, so hugs to all and sleep well. Might pop in after class tomorrow.

BTW DH went to work at 6.00 this morning and found two blokes prowling around the parking bays near our house and gave chase . Goodness knows what they were up to but I've told him to double check the locking up and let all the neighbours know as well.

  • I have had a message from someone on freecycle saying that she is selling curtains on ebay but if she doesnt get any bids I can get them:j I had a look (she sent me the link) and they are ok - not quite what i would have chosen but hey beggars .......and all that!
Actually there are 2 pairs and if I get them I could do aswap round and get longer ones for my bedroom too.
I dont think they are quite long enough - she has the measurements in cms - i did a quick guess - but there's loads in the widths so i would be able to do something I am sure!!

    toots xx:j

Deniseflower have you been tested for anaemia, I am permanently on iron for IDA but have just finished a course of B12 injections for pernicious anaemia as well – HUUUGE difference they have made for me, can come in from work and not fall asleep

Thanks Kaz, yes I was a while back and I was given some tablets, but they're all gone, so have just been taking shop ones - definitely helped, but may need to speak to them again..

Polka - Don't give your cakes away - it devalues what you do! If you give them away on freecycle, the only people who will take them will be people who don't want to pay anyway (not knocking freecycle, I hate paying if I don't have to too), but what I mean is, they won't value it so you won't get much from it. If you have to give stuff away, make it for a fete, raffle, etc, where it will get noticed and where you can have business cards out, etc - a marketing ploy rather than a freebie - Does that make sense or is it just ramble? (probably the latter, :rotfl: )

Toots - If you are really worried about taking them up, send them to me if you like - I'm not a seamstress or anything, but I can take up curtains and add bits on and such without it looking too bad (here is one I had to take the top up on so not too drastic) and no, not being nice or anything, just really enjoy doing stuff like that instead of doing housework...:D

Really P'd off tonight as I'm really tired after only having 2 1/2 hours sleep last night, but finally felt sleepy about 9pm, dropped off in front of TV and then DS rang the bell at 9.15 coz he's lost his key - AGAIN! If it wasn't such a pain him not having one, I wouldn't get him another one... so now wide awake again, (hence on here rambling incoherently - is that how you spell it?) coz I'm trying to make myself tired.... Oh well, might as well post my list...
