    My list for tomorrow.

I also wanted to ask something about my cake portfolio. Ive seen guys offer IT services on Freecycle. What do you think of the idea of offering MY CAKES on freecycle. I was thinking if only as a start so I can take pictures and build up my portfolio. It's bound to get me some word of mouth too. Any opinions?

Dusty - 3 weeks isnt too bad then - is he taking it ok??

He is taking it fine at the moment. Worry is the first time he broke the other one it was very similar and in plaster for 4 weeks. Problem was he broke it again within 3 weeks of the plaster coming off and the break was much worse, needed an op and much longer in plaster. So he is a bit wary but will be so keen to be back at sport.

I'm going through all OH's work benefits, a boring but necessary task and it is on my list for today.

Grrrr...filled in the first of the 6 page consulation forms only to find that i've made some of the boxes too small. On the plus side....I only printed out one of the 100 consultation packs so i've only wasted 6 pages!!! I've ammended the form and will start properly in the morning but i'm not allowing myself on here until i've done 50 of them so you might never see me again....stop cheering pigpen! xx

polkadot - absolutely no way would I give your cakes away! Try putting a photo of one in a local newsagents window, or if your DS goes to a playgroup, offer one as a raffle prize maybe when they do a fundraiser.

It has just occurred to me that if you are doing cakes for sale, there will be regulations about the kitchen that you are cooking in - is that mentioned by the business people who are helping you?

AAAWWW Michelle Now I REALLY want to do Charlie's cake! I made a sweetie train for DS first birthday too! It was my first attempt at a shaped cake and I worked on it ALL night. I started doing it to spite the granddragon coz she insisted she would do his cake. Thank goodness I did it in the end coz when she arrived she had a caramel pie from a co op type shop with a number one candle in it....and there began my love affair.;)

had a mad, idustrious type day, eye check up was good only took 15 mins, went to post office with 1 ebay parcel, then went and did bithday shopping of cards and presents and a bit of browsing round charity shops (me time) little bit of tesco shopping - home for lunch - wrapped presies and wrote cards - checked ebays nad found more had been paid:mad: so wrapped 5 and took all that to postoffice again!!! then went to library to loook for books (GTD etc) and found a lady that I knew 2 years ago in the CAB (she left when her daughter was killed in a hit and run) and she and her hubbie are going to help me (he used to be the financial advisor at CAB but left when they wouldnt give him time off when the daughter was kkilled because he was only her step-father - would you believe it!!!)
Anyway they now have their own debt mangement company and wnat to help me - free of charge too! I will have to work on that one!!!

Ok home and while tea was heating I divided up pot of mince that I had made in the SC and that is now in the freezer - I decided I wouldnt come on here until I had done some of my jobs and could tell you.
havent manged a whole lot but as I did all my parcels today i will be at home most of tomorrow so can do some HHC's and catch up - I am tired but feel like I have achieved a lot.

    toots xx:D
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Yes, they have. But apparently based on my aims that can be got around. But I guess I'll learn more at the workshop.

Um, why wouldn't you give my cakes away?
  • PS G&B - do you have a smart card at uni?

    No:confused: Should i have one?
