Also today, Sam is now booked into the same nuirsery as Charlie, starting on the 16/03/09 with 2 half days booked in the 2 weeks before that. And, i have started planning Charlie's birthday party - it is going to be a thomas the tank engine party to go with the train cake i will make, so i just ordered some invites/balloon/plates/goodie bags from ebay. That will be paid for with the money for the stuff i have just sold, and now i just need to pay once the guy sends me an invoice with combined postage - go me.
Also spoke to MIL and made plans for entertaining the boys on Saturday when DH is on a stag do all day from 9am. I said i will have to have an equivalent day to myself when not BF anymore. A whole day away would leave me in agony at the moment.

That has to be my best effort in a long time - i think i'm back on form girls x

    Dinner done.
    News watched (still depressing!)
    Thread caught up with.

Rach - I looked at the just giving site but it said your personal details are passed on to the charity. I don't want that. Is there anyway I can get a £20 note to you anonymously if you complete the walk on Friday night? (Best of luck by the way!)

today someone on my bank of desks left 2 mobiles at his desk which rang awful tunes incessantly for half an hour!

I've had that before and what I've done is just reached over and switched them off ;) Unfortunately you can't find the 'switch off' button on humans that wander in!

Right, I think I just ought to go to bed and try and sleep this depression off. Maybe it's the full moon getting me all maudlin....

  • Evening ladies!

What a lot of upsets and hugs needed today - hadn't realised it was full moon but that explains a lot with my work too - all female environment - sure it's the hormones - especially our Head R Teacher - needs something to keep her sane and the rest of us too - why oh why can colleagues never do the sensible thing and leave us poor admin staff to pick up the pieces after inferring it was our fault anyway?? I only work 18 hours a week but at the moment I'm there another 20 - 30 mins a day - but of course can't claim overtime - not on an education budget! All will settle down as term progresses but for now I'm stressed and can't fly as well! Went for a cuppa with mum today just to have some adult conversation - so no flying after work and tomorrow need to go to the gym too - have to get back to that routine as I've lost loads of fitness over the summer when I couldn't get with the kids at home. what a whinge - I'll stop now!!

I have managed to tidy and S & S each morning - done 2 loads of WM - and dried on the line - so glad I'm not Pigpen - how do you cope! DW each day too. Rustled up leftover pork tea yesterday and hoovered all through the house. Drained pool thoroughly -still need to clean and dry before stowing away. Still need to get to the recycling centre but htat will be a Friday job. Need to dust and clean cupboards in kitchen and lounge, table wiped down. Packed lunches to be finished for tomorrow - breakfast stuff to put out - will get DS to do that before he goes to bed! Must glue insoles into his shoes tonight too!!
Well what a long post - will keep reading what I can but hugs to all even if I don't keep up with all your doings.;)

Thanks Soappie, that's lovely. I'll check that out (I didn't create this page but DH is a charity finance guy and did one for our wedding when we had charity donations so I'll check with him). I know you can definitely make sure the charity doesn't get in touch with you after, but the money does go straight to them so i guess they might get some details. I will PM you my address as I have a sponsor form too for money people have just handed to me!

diva - huge big hugs to you, that is such a difficult situation. I think you'll just have to love the ones nearest to you, and let them love you back loads.

ssl - good to hear from you, loads of luck!

soappie - hope the sun shines for you tomorrow!

michelle - you've done fantastically well today - I never did anything except emergency cleaning until my three were at secondary school...:o

froddington - good wishes to you and your colleague.

I had a very enjoyable hour and a half on the allotment this afternoon, although the forecast sun didn't materialise. I really do need to spend more time outside when I'm not working! Managed to weed a whole bed, and transplanted some baby lettuce plants to fill in gaps in the row. I'll do another bed tomorrow if the weather stays dry.
