Well, surely any driver who is with a disabled person could do the same, blue badge or not? But if they have a blue badge, it's their right, right?

There is no reason why a disabled person should not use a disabled bay at a supermarket if they need to, regardless of whether they have a blue badge. The spaces have been provided for them under the DDA.

The only way to prove that you have the right to park in a dissabled space is to display a blue badge. They won't get away without displaying it in a dissabled space in the street.

    No and no.
    Have never suggested I was.

So when would you need to park in a dissabled space?

In a supermarket car park there is no "right" to a disabled space

In which case you must display a blue badge.

There is if you have a blue badge, because that's what the land owners have decided.

You all seem to have gotten hold of the wrong end of the stick here, it is my car park, for my own personal use, I do not rent spaces out, I do not charge people for using it and I am not in any way defending the 'clampers and scammers'. It is mine for my personal use, just like my home, and as the law states, I have every right to defend it( with reasonable force, obviously) and also remove any trespassers( again with reasonable force).
To all intents and purposes it is my drive.
Neither do I work for, or am I associated with any of the scammers, I use the NCP as a deterrent to any of the inconsiderate morons that choose to park on MY property.

I am not a loud shouting newbie defending the scammers and ner do wells, but I will defend my morals, and stand up for what is right.

Don't want parking hassle? Stay off my land.
Don't want banking charges? Don't go overdrawn.
Don't want to pay Credit insurance? Don't sign up for it.

For every action, there is a reaction. People would do well to realise this.

I am a 'stand up' law abiding citizen, I work bloody hard and pay( in my opinion) far too much tax, as I'm sure most others in the forums do.
I do not wish too argue/fall out with anyone on the boards, BUT I do reserve the right to defend my opinions, as free speech is the one last bastion of what our country stands for.

    Thank you for listening.
Still waiting for details of your alleged successful court prosecution, I think the earlier label of "liar" justified until it arrives.

Tim? Are you really that dumb to even believe fifty percent of the comments you have posted? How do I fare as a disabled/mobility challenged person without blue badge in a private car park then? Are you suggesting it is lawful to treat me differently from other mobility challenged persons because I refuse to display a mark of shame/humiliation?
Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.

Together we can make a difference.

So what you are saying is that you like to cause trouble by parking in a dissabled space so that you can challenge the PPC's, just the same as you come on MSE to cause trouble.

You are a perfect example of a Troll.
