Afternoon,
I had my pay slip today, i done 5 hours extra and made about £15 for it after tax & NI.
Im still doing every single survey that comes into my inbox too, i also ordered a £10 Next voucher from Shopandscan.
I also won a free pint with Yates's so now have that and the £10 Yates's bar tab to use ASAP. Although i dont really go into town much these days to use it but seeing as the weather is nice i will make time for some freebies!:)
I am still yet it list my Michael Jackson game on Ebay, i loved it so much as a child i dont want to part with it!! Even though its worth some good money. It a rare game. But now my nephew has my mega drive which is also worth some good money as its the old retro one i cant ever play it. I never wanted to give my nephew the computer and games, my brother asked for it to borrow as his ps2 had broke but has never given it back and nephew still plays on it so i dont want to take it back off him.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Morning! Yay the weekend!:j
2moz im going to the free world series renault day at Silverstone with my OH to check out all the new renaultsportsAlthough i wont be taking my renaultsport! lol. OH is going to drive in his car instead. Looks like a really good day out from the previous years pics.
Im going to pop to Asda later for some bottles of water and snacks etc to take with us in a cool bag. As i know how expensive food and drink is at these places! And the size the queues get!
So today i think im going to chill out in the sun in the garden:cool:
Ive already done all the surveys in my inbox, just got to transmit shopandscan barcodes.
I got my haircut wednesday costing £36!!!! Grrr to having long hair, if it was shoulder length the price for cut would only be £21. It really needed it though, plus i gave my hairdresser a £2 tip. I always give a tip, i feel bad if i dont. Then i also went and spent £30 on a teeny tiny pair of shorts, as its too hot wearing trousers out!
Postie just came and bought my £10 next voucher and £4 luncheon vouchers.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Hi Maria,
I'm also going to the Renault world series thingy tomorrow, going along with my OH and a few of our mates, so i might see you. If you see a very shiney white BM 1 series (he's out cleaning it now bless him, the effort he puts into cleaning his car is amazing, if only he put the same effort cleaning our flat) on the way then thats us :-) we're coming from kent so prob be going same way. I'll try and look out for you there, if i can remember what you look like hehe. We also went last year and had a blast, great free day out.
Well done on all the surveys, your great at keeping up with it. I see one appear in my inbox and i'm just forgetting about them as i don't do them there and then, like i should.
Enjoy the sunshine in the garden!

Hi Maria,
Just thought i'd pop in to find out if you enjoyed Silverstone today? I got back around 8, the traffic getting out the car park was really bad. It was a great day tho, the weather was just right, a bit chilly this morning when in the wind i thought, but got sooo burnt this afternoon - ouch! The racing was brilliant, such a great event for a freebie. The Clio Cups are just such nice cars, saw a very nice white one which i wanted to buy lol.
I hope you had a terrific day chick! The very best things in life ... are free!

P.S - the only thing which let it down i thought was the cost of food. We didn't take a packed lunch, didn't want to carry it around with us, but after forking out nearly £25 on some lunch for 4, then £19 on ice creams, you start to wish you'd bought lunch with you.The very best things in life ... are free!

OMG Hayley...the traffic!!! Was mental! We didnt get there until 1pm as got stuck in traffic for 2 hours just bumper to bumper. The queue started on the M1 2 miles before the slip road to come off to Silverstone then all the way to Silverstone from there!!! My bum was aching!!!
But apart from that we had a great day! OMG i want that Megene on display! The ones they were using to race, which arent road legal! Or a clio V6 would go down quiet nicely! haha
I bought drinks with us and we just bought some chips costing £5, then bought a BK on way home in drive-thru.:)
I think i saw u actually as we were leaving! Was you wearing a little white cardi?? We was parked in the car park right at the end of Silverstone next to the roundabout looked left bumper to bumper traffic but right off the roundabout there was nothing!! So we went right and didnt get any traffic at all! Then just let the Sat Nav find a new route back.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! On the money side of things ive just done another PC survey £4 vouchers on there way.
OH has sold most of his car bits on his car forum so no fee's for selling them, and so far the people have all paid cash on collection so no paypal fee's either! He just has some interior left to sell before the actual car goes which his hoping to get £600 for!
We have been requesting details on a few places to rent, as we just feel we cant wait around for yet another year until this CCJ comes off to try for a baby and move out. His dad has agree'ed he would be the garantor if we need one because of OH's credit history. Only thing i dont like the sound of is all the up front fee's for credit checks and ref's at about £350 in total and if you dont pass then you dont get your money back! Thats alot of money to lose! If searched throught the papers for weeks now for private landlords but they all want too much rent!
Off topic...has anyone seen the Michael jackson ghost footage on youtube?! Its scarey! :rotfl::eek:Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Hey chick. Thats a long wait, we got there around 9am, so beat most of the traffic, was a little bit busy, but not a lot. We had to leave at 6.30am to get there for that time though, so it was a long day, we did stop at Starbucks for breakfast, otherwise prob would've got there early. However, it was a very enjoyable day. I have been looking at white Clio Cups today at work, naughty me! I really want one, but they are a lot of money
That wasn't me unfortunately, i did keep my eyes open for you but no luck. I think we were parked in the same place as you tho, we left around 4.30 after Mansell, was no reason to stay till the end as we had seen all that in the morning, so I'm hoping we didn't miss anything spectacular at the end?
Thats great about your OH selling his car bits on forums, saves paying the ridiculous fees ebay charge.
£350 for checks, thats a lot of money. I think in the past we have only had to pay around £190, so not sure why they are now so expensive? If your OH's dad is going to be guarantor then fingers crossed you should be okay. You must be so excited knowing you will have your own little place soon and can start planning your future.
Not seen the Jacko footage, might have a little looksy at that now!The very best things in life ... are free!

The agency we spoke to wants £150 each for checks and £50 to take the place off the books while there doing the checks! Then the deposit and months rent! so i reckon we will be loooking at about £1500.
Im not a fan of the new Clio cups YET, i say yet coz it always takes me a while to like new cars. lol. That is naughty! Your insurance would be high for a new driver.
Aww, good job i didnt say hi then! haha! We went at about 4.45pm, so wasnt really there very long, which i blame on my OH!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750
