I wish I could help more - like everyone else I just cut and pasted voucher code from the link given in the second post of this thread. I don't remember seeing any expiry date at any stage.
My confirmation e mail from 14th September just states:
" Thank you for placing an order with ASDA Electricals for:
1 x Dual LE21DTVDVD0701 21" DVD @ 59.99
1 x 30 Pounds off Dual LE21DTVDVD0701 @ -30.00"
Same for order details on their website.
I suppose the bottom line is that the voucher was accepted by them in part payment at the time. I don't see how they can then change their minds for some customers while still supplying others.
Anyway, good luck - I'm still waiting to hear anything back from Doncaster TS, will keep you all posted.0 -
TS have stated they will be speaking to their contact with ASDA electricals either today or Monday and will get back to me with their response.
TS are very interested and want to get to the bottom of this!!0 -
Please do post the reply as I have spoken to my local TS who are also both appalled and very interested!!Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!0

I supose the worst thing about this is that people ordered the same item, using the same code on the Monday and received theirs with no problem. So the code still worked at that time when they were busy cancelling all the orders which were placed before this (by the sounds of things on this thread they started with the first orders). Why didn't they make the code unavailable as soon as they noticed?
Surely if the code was invalid on the Friday/Saturday it should still have been invalid on the Monday.
Not that I begrudge anyone who received the tv - good on them - I don't think they should have a valid case for cancelling orders placed before.0 -

I look forward to your response, I emailed yesterday and have yet to have a reply, however, I do feel the more emails they get in relation to this the better chance we have. So, hopefully their trying to fight through them all!!
Good luck everyone, it would be a great victory for the consumer (and this website) if we get this one honoured - I am looking at it with optimism!!

I have emailed my TS today and am awaiting their response. I agree with above post the more of us who email the better chance of a result.

I have just got home and there was a message on my answerphone stating:-
The best they can do is I re-purchase the tv (which is now £69.99) plus the delivery charge they will then arrange for me to be sent £30.00 in vouchers.
This way I am £10.00 out of pocket, pay full price for the tv, then go to asda's to spend another £30.00.
How is everyone else doing? I also emailed TS - not obviously no response yet due to the weekend.0 -

Will you be getting £30 of Asda-Electrical vouchers to use online, or £30 worth of Asda vouchers to use in store?0 -

The message didn' say. I have to ring them back for them to arrange the £30.00 vouchers so could check then. I would rather the tv.
I have received one, the order I placed on the Sunday, so I have been lucky enough to get that I suppose. Only thing is I have 3 kids (2 share a room) and this would have been the best Xmas present to them that they could have wished for. I got my dad to lend me the money to buy the second one - hence not ordering both together.
I am a bit stuck now as I can't give it to one and not the other - unless I find another really good deal!! That is why I am pushing on them to let me have what I ordered.0 -
At least you are getting somewhere. So far no-one has had the courtesy to reply to my emails at all.
I did also pm Martin to have a look at this thread to see what his thoughts might be, as he really helped out some people when Littlewoods were being awkward about a code, but he hasn't seen my pm or this thread as far as I am aware.0
