i emailed asda twice and got the same replys you all did

just to let you know ordered last monday....they confirmed the order then cancelled the same day. I then rang CS on the tues and complained quoting their T&Cs etc they asked me if I would like their legal team to give me a call and I said yes....30 mins later same person called back and said they would honour the price so re-ordered on tues and delivered fri and all is well.

Just not sure why they are being so inconsistant with other orders.:rolleyes:

Seems something amiss somewhere.

I think it's worth trying trading standards, either your local one or as wissychraddle kindly posted the Doncaster one which covers Asda Electrical HO.

I emailed Asda and got their standard response, and then sent copies of all correspondence to Doncaster ts last week, but still haven't heard anything back. I'm hoping that's 'cause they're looking into it as a job lot from all our complaints, but we should hear something in the next few days I would hope - I will certainly try to chase if no news by Thurs or so.

It sounds as if enough of us are pursuing to get somewhere, and I totally agree with the poster above in that I'm happy to win some / lose some with bargains and money saving, but Asda are really taking the mickey on this one.

I'll post any response I get here, and thanks to everyone else who's doing the same.

I got my ordered cancelled, who would i be best to contact everyone seems to be contacting different ones. What do i put in the email to make it stand out and be noticed, not very good writing down what i really want to say but also poor with telephones.
