I specifically asked for compensation for my time, and telephone and postage costs, and the £5 is towards that, plus £30 off the t.v. Just goes to show that if you don't ask, you don't get.
  • I thought it may have been more to do with the fact that I specifically requested they remove all trace of me from their records and databases and if they ever contacted me again I would consider taking steps to sue them for harassment :rotfl:

I'd had a really bad day anyway and I was extremely !!!!!! off :o

If I were you, I'd drop them an email stating that you haven't had a reply to your recent letter. I'd also write a quick paragraph asking for compensation for your potal/telephone expenses, and you might get an extra fiver!!!

    hi there
well i had my letter today offering me £30 refund to my card if i buy the tv at the price it is now
that still(with pp) makes it £10 less than any 14 " ive found

so can anyone who has got one please tell me if it is a good tv and they are happy? is it too big for a small childs room

also anyone who has had tv with the refund was it hassle free getting it?

it says in letter i have to reply in writing so presumably order by letter too?

    thanks for any help

I've still not had my reply to my email to them and I've just tried to log in and see if its on my account (I didn't get it delivered to my email address before and found it by fluke so asked them to email me directly)
Anyway the whole site seems to have been merged with Asda.com but when I sign in it says I've no orders with them :x
Has anyone else got in to their "query" bit???

Without seeming to sound ungrateful I was glad my TV was delivered but it is REALLY large and wouldn't fit on the shelf in the caravan, well it did but it overhung slightly and it is also front heavy so was not ideal so we swopped it with the portable from our bedroom so now we have a giant TV in our bedroom and a small one at the caravan.

I have an 8 year old and I would not advise having it in her room due to the size or the weight, it would have to go on a chest of drawers and even then I would be worried they would not be stable enough.
