I didn't get my phone back yesterday but once I was home after taking the kids to school there was a message on the answer phone.

She apologied for not getting back to me and unfortunatley she was unable to get a response as to whether or not I would receive my order and it doesn't look like she would get one until Friday so she is going to ring me back then.

Shame she had to ring while I was doing the school run.

When I contacted Asda this morning I was given the address of

Asda electricals, Miller house, Shore lane, Doncaster, DN2 4SQ

why would we be given different addresses?


I also phoned trading standards and explained the whole situation and thay have said it IS a case of breach of contract!

Bit miffed here :mad: just checked the bank and the money has just come out of the bank. It has taken since Sunday for it to come out and now it will probably take another 5 days for them to put it back into the account. Nice to know that it seems to be quite legal for them to take my money but not give me anything for it. :mad: I know they will give me the money back but it's not the point I ordered something in good faith from them, yes it was a better bargain than I expected but if Asda messed up by leaving a discount code online that was still accepted by their system then they should live with it and honour ALL orders and not just certain ones.

Well done to all that managed to get it but BOO to Asda for not giving it to the rest of us.

I'm suree there probably right next to eachother due to the postcode, I got mine off the website.

Which branch of TS did you speak to, was it Doncaster?

Has anyone else had any replies, I am STILL waiting for one, I can nay believe it!

No, it wasnt Doncaster TS. The people to phone are Consumer direct whos numbers are found on the trading standards website.
