I have just received my cancellation email, and am just trying to come up with the best form of words before replying to them, so if any legal types can come up with the right terminology to help I'd be very grateful! Maybe between us we can put together a response that will get a result. I've seen this type of scenario time and time again on this site, and it's always been a case of "they haven't taken your money so no contract has been formed, it's just an invitation to treat". Well this time they have taken the money, and apparently have the stock, so they should supply the goods as stated. Let's put up a fight shall we?0 -

I've just received my cancellation email too. Am very angry because the money HAS been taken from my account.
So like I said in an earlier post Asda are holding on to our money for a few days, gaining the interest, and will eventually refund us.
Could this be a ploy to line their pockets?
I'm sure once they have taken the money they have formed a legally bound contract.
Perhaps Martin could get involved on our behalf because their T&Cs do not cover this particular scenario.:mad:Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

I have not recieved an e mail either saying it has been canclled. checked the website this morning and my goods are now on a van coming to my house. (in Theory!!) will post later. Did not order mine till saturday.
Money has been taken out of my bank (just checked)0 -
Perhaps they had dispatched a few and then realised the codes had been used to make it cheaper..... plus the volume of sales would have made them suspicious! I guess they cant claw back the ones they had already sent out to the courier companies.
Oh well you win some, you lose some - congrats to all those that do receive them.0 -
Yep mine shows a url to City link, but there is no tracking reference and the web order number is not recognised. We will see0
